What she said…
Blurf.
We hates house hunting, yesss… precious, we does.
Especially with a deadline rushing up. It’s particularly bad now, as it’s the European Juggling Convention on right now, and a load of my local friends are there.
I think I need more sleep. I was looking at the left hand side of the screen wondering why you posted an empty post. :smack:
Showered, dressed, and still no one to monitor today. I see clay time.

I need to get some actual work done today. Ergh, my brain has been in such a mental fog this week. I have no motivation to do anything work related. I am more occupied with getting the twins ready for kindergarten.
One of my cousins passed away earlier this week, her funeral is today. She was 56, diabetic and had been on dialysis for some time. I haven’t seen her in a really long time but this is the first cousin to pass away and I guess all of us are now confronting our mortality. Strangely enough, this cousin had been on my mind for the past couple of months–I guess she must have needed my thoughts for her. May she rest in peace.
Sorry for being so sad on a Friday, and a happy Friday for most. Pizza and wings were good last night, btw - and yes, they were finger-licking good. I don’t kjnow what dinner tonight will be, possibly barbecue. Woo hoo! Good luck with the house purchase, Sari. Good wishes to everyone else who is in need. Enjoy your Friday!
Got word that our CPA just passed away too and that has us confronting our own mortality as well. It’s not that we were close at all, it was a professional friendship but he had sat in our kitchen for the last 8 years every March drinking coffee and being chatty so it saddens us at the suddenness of loss. He didn’t look good this last time and I can’t help but wonder how much he knew beforehand.
No plans for the weekend yet. In-laws on the way mid-week so lots happening then but beforehand I guess we’re resting up, buying some new hanging baskets, spreading a little extra fertilizer around, etc. I’ve been told I’m a real pro at spreading fertilizer, so there’s that.
blechy blechy blurfy blurf
Happy Friday everyone.
Nothing new to report.

I installed a dead bolt on the stairway door so that the crazed muggers Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) was to testify against couldn’t get into the house.
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) locked me in the fish room last week.
Ha Ha.
As the Klingons say, “Revenge is a dish best served cold.”
So I bought one of these.
The plan is to hang it up Saturday while she is at work, and hang out in the fish room until she gets home.
So what do y’all think?

Herbs and lieu so sorry for your losses. Yeah, when people around your own age start shufflin’ off it does remind one that one is mortal.
flytrap I want that! It’s so uber jake!
Oh and irk is over for the week! YAY!!! I made the executive decision to cut out early. Now I’m waitin’ on gettin’ to go use my bday coupon. We’re goin’ around four thirty to avoid crowds. I’s hungry now. Hope I hold out and don’t waste away!
Damn! Damn! Damn!
Big show tomorrow and car trouble tonight amongst other issues.

I absolutely cannot believe I still have another hour of today to get through.
Thanks for reminding me.
To make up for eating Hamburger Helper last night, we’re having a healthy supper: Cod, corn, salad, N.O.T.-tots (Are *too *healthy!!) and whatever else I pull out of the fridge. I’s hongree - as soon as **FCD **finishes the water change in the aquarium, I’m starting supper.
Tater tots are healthy?
Mama Plant always told me that you needed something green. Does salad count?
There’s a gigantic music festival going on in my city this weekend. Anyone who’s anyone is there. I keep seeing countless posts about it on Facebook and Twitter. And I won’t be going to it.
Maybe I shuld just shut off the internet for the weekend and sulk.
Or maybe I’ll go to some improv shows tomorrow night.
The salad will have green and red and white and orange - lettuces, tomatoes, mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots - very healthy and vegetative.
How does it come to pass that?
