It's the old fart's MMP!!

Today I have deheathenated, had N.O.L. and somewhat defilthyfied da cave. Go me. It’s turned into a rainy Sunday afternoon so defilthyfication seemed to be the thing to do. I should do some ironin’ but ain’t happenin’ cause I don’t wanna.

Yay for the good house appraisal Sari! Oh and what MOOOOOOM said. She’s even volunteered to help you with the downspout fix. That’s how I read it.

ETA: First on Seven!

She is always thinking of others. A wonderful, thoughtful, GIVING person.

Hi everybody and happy Sunday

Irked with the Hippies last night, just plain old lazy today about to hang with some friends.

Cheers all

Jim

Time to knit… who’s got tomorrow??

Too bad sleep-eating isn’t an option :).

Back from deheathenizing. Neither of us slept well last night (I’m having problems with arm pain, thinking I need to replace my pillow), and the cat’s still annoyed about dinner guests last night and getting more attention from all humans than she wanted, so about the only household member who doesn’t have the grumpies is the bird. She’s pretty consistent, really. Not much bothers my favorite featherhead. Even moving was no big deal for her. She just looked around and said to herself “here are my humans and my cat, this must be home, it’s all good”.

Seanette, what kind of bird do you have?

She’s a ringneck dove. Picture here. It’s an old picture, but she hasn’t changed significantly since it was taken.

Tahrd. Think I shall go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until sleepy time. I hear thunder rumbles in the distance.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

The dove is so cute

Is the dove loud? I lived with a turtledove for a year, She was beautiful, but LOUD.

Haven’t gotten as much work done as I wanted to. Gonna do a bit more and then turn in…

Do we have a volunteer for tomorrow?

Hugs.

GT

She can get vocal when she wants to, but is usually pretty quiet. So far as I know anything about hookbill birds (parrots, parakeets, budgies, etc.), they’re a lot noisier than she is.

Is she native to North America?
She looks very much like the doves MIL (v.3.0) fed in the back yard.

Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) worked at a bird pet store in the 1980’s.
I saw a bird rip a strip away from his broomstick perch.
Ouch!

Hard to say. The term “ring neck dove” can be applied to a range of doves, from different parts of the world.

Back from Savannah. I missed Gordie.:dubious:

boy, are you late!

I spent a week staying up late, eating Cheezy Poofs, and drinking Blue Sh!t[sup]TM[/sup] . Bite me[sub][sub]Please?[/sub][/sub].
