Sketties 'n meatballs, sallit, and cheesey garlic bread are on the menu. I took some meatballs and skettie sauce outta da freezer, so the prep will be easy.

I had a very good end to my weekend, our last music festival day was excellent. Saw some great bands, and chatted to friends. As the last band finished and people were hanging out in the bar area, the singer from one of the bands came up and tapped me on the shoulder, wanting to thank us for wearing their t-shirts Then he wanted a pic with the two of us because he still gets ridiculously excited seeing people wearing their stuff.
Today’s a day off for me, I have a few things to do though. I will take 'im indoors to the station as he’s off to Scotland to look after his mum for a few days while his sister’s away. Then I need to do grocery shopping, and I will be at the gym later. I am waiting for Cherry to finish snoozing on the bed so I can change the sheets and get them in the wash too, no idea how long I’ll need to wait for her!
Good morning all! The next three days will be full of prep work for my annual Ozark fishing trip. Today I will need to dig out my gear from the depths of the garage and take stock of the condition of everything. Tomorrow will be shopping for the needful things. Wednesday I have an eight pound pork roast to go on the smoker.
My adopted brother Dave flies in mid afternoon on Wednesday. We will pick up groceries and beer. We will be on the road about 0500 on Thursday
After another stoopit night of not being able to fall asleep till nearly 2, I was up shortly after 7. Ick. Starting with 55 Ferrets and overcast but no rain in the forecast for the rest of the week.
Pellets are being delivered today. That’s pretty much all the excitement on the agenda.
Oh, wow, it’s Monday again. I’m up, typing, and somewhat awake. I’ve had a mandarin orange, a Krogurt, and morning pills.
Outside, it’s 47 degrees F, and the frognosticators say we’ll get up to 75 Fair Ignite.

Woke up shortly after 2am, used the facility, then couldn’t get back to sleep until sometime after 5, woke up for good at 7:15. Ugh.
Was perusing the Coffee Week flyer (actually pages on Instagram). There’s 2 events scheduled today, one at the Egg Bar from 10-1 (all iced lattes and cold brews for $5) and another at a coffee roaster from 2-5; neither of which the activities scheduled appeal to me. If I can get home in time from work, I may head up to the Egg Bar; have never been and would like to check it out and perhaps get a chai latte.
Hippie that sounds like a great getaway, commaraderie, nature, some exercise and likely some good eating.
It’s 42F and clear outside. It’ll be mostly clear today, with clouds arriving later, and a daytime high of 67F. Rain by tonight or tomorrow morning.

Garbage and recycling bins will be hauled to the curb this evening. As for the rest of the day, I’ll watch a little trash TV and run the vacuum. Zeus and my pups shed a lot, especially when they run around and play. However, they had a nice time together on Saturday and Sunday.
We’ll probably prep some more twice-baked potatoes, too. We prepped a bunch on Saturday, but ate two for dinner, then three (one for my son) for lunch, and two more for dinner yesterday. So, we’ll need to prep more. However, I’d like a break tonight. They’re delicious and all, but I just want some green veggies, please.

I, too, had a night of restless dreams, and when I did sleep, they woke me because I was annoyed or disturbed.
As for now, it’s time for some more coffee, and I need to sing Happy Birthday to Adam via Messenger. Today is his sixth birthday.
Good morning to all. My bladder decided I needed a good rest, so slept all the way through to 7am today. Have the usual shop-n-sammich run in a bit and will be an assistant referee to a youth ref this afternoon, with maybe a little gym time in-between. Nothing critical on the agenda this week, so can work on my slothage if I want to (we’ll see what the Moanday weight-in at the gym says about that). 60 Ferret Heights to start heading to 83 later in the day but the Weather Wizards say we’ll get back above 90F later in the week.
Well, I do like your basic brown and chicken gravies just fine, just never developed a taste for the stuff they pour over perfected decent biscuits.

Short shift today, I was out by 0830. There weren’t a lot of irregs, which was unusual.
I gassed up Carmen($8 for less than 2 gallons, and did my Aldi run. the had Stilton, which was good. I got stew beef for Sunday’s Guinness stew,$12 for a pound anna half. #winning I had my bowl of dry, flavorless bits, and an Asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese.
Spot was distracted by the squirrels, so I got mine done with minimal interference.
It’s just really wet flour poured over really dry flour. I enjoy it.
Morning all. I opened my email this morning and its almost like I’m back at work again. Just sorting between the “Complete, here’s your permit number” and the “More information needed” emails took almost an hour because almost nobody put that in the subject line and I had to open almost all of them during the first sort.
WV has 58 counties to slog through, we want a permit for each county because we don’t know where people are going to show up. The big five counties are approved so that’s a good thing.
Well, we do know where they will be in PA (Hi Rocky!) but still want permits for every county anyhow.
Maryland is just weird. Sorry FCM, but its true. Half your counties don’t even have the permit applications online, so I’ll be spending my afternoon calling them and asking them to FAX the paperwork to me.
It is a cool 60F ATM and was very foggy this morning. Hubs is out on his bike, getting all the miles he can before winter really arrives.
George is very upset about this because he wants both of his slaves at home where they belong and gets very noisy when one of us goes missing.

'im indoors is on a train heading to Scotland, I have fed the cats, purchased groceries, fixed a tear in a lace panel on my favourite leggings, changed the bedding and put it in the machine to slosh around. Now it’s time for more tea and a banana before I get read to head to the gym.
FCD got out the small heated blanket his mom used to use. He’s never cold, so that was a bit of a surprise. He may be coming down with something.
We used to have a small space heater in each bathroom, but the one in ours died, so we’ll swipe the one from the hall bathroom. It’s easy enough to move if necessary. I don’t think we need to buy another since the only one bathing in the hall bath is Tobias. He’s young. He’s tough…
Both vehicles are out of the garage, but no call from the pellet deliverers yet. I can’t go downstairs while waiting, so maybe I’ll just rollsuck and < brace yourselves > dust. Or not. Fatigue tends to quash any motivation I might muster up.
And I just heard from my sister - they’re keeping my mom in the hospital another night. Her heart isn’t cooperating. Wonder if she’ll get a pacemaker??
