The weather kicked major buttocks today. I actually went outside with just a tee for a change. No sweater! The sunshine is misleading here in the Bay Area. When I first came up north I’d look out my window, see sunshine, assume it was warm then run outside in shorts. Brrr, “TIS COLD!” I would say. Lousy deceptive sunshine. Ahh, but today was quite the opposite. I went outside with a sweater assuming it would be chilly and exclaimed, “Bah! Tis hot!” and removed my sweater! Yay! I lounged outside for a good hour or so just for the sake of enjoying some warm weather.
Good times.
Bastards.
We northerners will have our last laugh yet. Or stay inside drinking beer.
Oh, I’m in NoCal right now, btw, which is why I’m so damn happy about some warm weather.
It’s a lazy 33 degrees (91 farenheit) in Perth, Western Australia today. The sea breeze has come in early, keeping the heat down a bit. Not bad for the second week of autumn.

It was 71 here yesterday. Which was great, after the shitty winter we’ve had.
You say that like it means you’re in the tundra, or something. If your area doesn’t average at least ten snowstorms per winter, you’ve got nothing to complain about, cold-wise. We got twenty, this year, in Boston. We did get a warm day, yesterday, though. It almost hit 50F. But, it’s supposed to, and probably will, snow, again, today. Of course, there is the quote by Mark Twain; “The coldest winter I ever endured was the summer I spent in San Francisco.”
I still say it’s all the groundhog’s fault.
Its a big snowstorm right NOW, but this weekend will be 60’s!
Yay! We’re goin to the parade Monday.
Yep, sorta big snowstorm here, too. It’ll get much better this weekend though. I can’t wait. I haven’t been this severely depressed in years. Spring can’t come quickly enough for me.
vanilla, just curious, where are you from? I keep thinking you’re in the Cleveland area, but I might be thinking of someone else.

Huh. Neat. I’m in North Olmsted, formerly from Orrville, home of Smuckers.

Yesterday was so nice, and really, this morning wasn’t entirely too bad. It was a bit chilly, if only for the rain, but now I want to cry.
Oh well, I can’t wait until Saturday. I’m going to the job fair at the zoo, and my wife and I will stick aound and enjoy the weather.
unfortunately, I am an eastern suburbanite.
