I've started an NFL Playoffs pick 'em league for us

We can’t let the season end now. (Particularly us Lions fans. We need something to console us after Sunday’s debacle.) Plus, we have to take one last shot at deflating Spiritus Mundi’s ego.

So, I’ve started an NFL Playoffs brackets league for us on Sandbox.

Just go here, register and join the league. If you played on the Straight Dope fantasy football league on Sandbox, registering is as simple as clicking the ‘login/play’ link on the left. But you’ll still have to join the Straight Dope group for this playoff pick 'em league, however.

It’s a private league called “The Straight Dope,” and the password is ‘cecil’ (no quotes, in all small letters).

Then it’s just a matter of picking the playoff games as you see them falling, all the way through the Super Bowl winner.

The league registration requires your first and last name, then lists us by name in the league (listing your email, too, is optional) so I propose that you register with your Doper name, either split between the first and last name fields, or some other way that fulfills their name requirement and lets us all know who’s who.

I, for example, will register my name as Milo ssarian

etc.

I, too, picked the Titans to be the champs. (Sorry, Dave, but I don’t see the Ravens winning twice in Nashville. ;))

Of course, some of my other picks were somewhat unorthodox, so I’ll either do really well, or stink up the joint. Either way, it should be fun.

In the interest of fairness, I have the Titans beating the Saints in a heartbreaker of a Super Bowl.
