Jeopardy! Season 42. It is what it is

That’s because you’ve aged out of the questions the writers are asking. Buncha young punks!

I regularly run categories unless they involve popular culture from this century. In that case I don’t even try. Babylonian myth - no sweat. Opera - clean sweep. But any hip-hop question better involve Peter Rabbit!

Whitaker wins his 5th game on Monday to be the first qualifier for next season’s Tournament of Champions.

I don’t like the way he sways from left foot to right foot (and back). Camera keeps him centered in the screen which makes me a little dizzy

Final Jeopardy Nov 28 category was “Famous declarations”. I got the answer just from the category.

They need to attach some guy wires to Harrison to stop him from swaying.

No kidding,

And considering the time lag of filming to broadcast, he was probably getting grief on “social media” from the first episode, and he knows he’s got 15 (whatevermany) more days, and he knows he did it the whole time. Embarrassing!

All in all, he’s still the least-annoying multi-day champion in quite a while.

Also not a fan of his “Well-played Losers!” little clap at the end of every win.

They need to get Harrison a new wardrobe. Or any wardrobe. The “shirt, tie, V-neck sweater” thing that he’s worn every day is way past just being stale.

There’s a balance between “not clapping and you look like the arrogant jerk”, and “clapping too much and you look like the arrogant jerk.” I’m not sure where that is.

I have not really noticed his swaying; guess it doesn’t bother me.

It seems people always find something to dislike (nit-pick?) about any multi-game champion. Harrison seems like a decent and humble guy to me.

Nov 28th? that is tomorrow.

It was yesterday, Nov 26th.

Embarrassing. I canlt typo anymore. Can;t tll my 6 from my 8.

6-7!

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: At least you’re in with the in crowd.

Last night was the first sex joke I’ve ever seen in Jeopardy. I’m sure Turd Ferguson or Sean Connery would have jumped all over that question.

I thought Ron Lalonde looked familiar – he is twin brother of 13 time champion Ray Laylonde:

Or IS he…?

Brian

“Three way? I was thinking of your mother, Trebek!”

I thought it was a repeat since I have seen that guy before, and then it was his twin brother.

Yes, I wondered about that too. “Haven’t I seen this guy before on Jeopardy?” Same looks, same voice. But during the interview segment the cameras turned around to show Ray in the audience, so they were obviously twins.

Ray the Sway’s brother versus a Canadian. Hard to know who to cheer for. Oh heck I’m going for the Super Champion Canadian’s smarter brother. Good luck Ron. That was fun.

But we still don’t know which one is on the stage! They’re pulling a double switcheroo! Did they check fingerprints?

Hey, I’m just asking questions!
