I should hope that all Christians would be willing pray for him, in agreement or not. Praying for his rest, comfort, and vitality isn’t the same as agreeing with every statement he makes.
Hopefully remembering to keep Jerry Falwell in my prayers (although I’m lucky if I keep anyone in them!),

I’m looking and looking but I still can’t see where anyone made a comment in bad taste…or at least, as hostile as one might make about one’s worst enemy.
I thinnk people have been very reticent about a man who seems very willing to assume other people’s suffering must be from sin. Can you tell me what in particular you object to?
Thankfully, I have someone willing to the restraining for me…because, while normally not much on the vitriol, Mr. Falwell has said a thing or two that I found particularly offensive and painful.
I don’t see any way that Falwell will change his mind about anything. As arrogant as this bastard is, if he survives it will be a sign from God that he is right.
Not being a christian I may have things all arse about face but why is it christians aren’t happy about dying?
The Terri thing made me think about this and Fallwell makes me wonder more. Isn’t the whole point of being a christian realised when you die? I thought being a christian meant if you did all the bible told you then you were rewarded with heaven when you died.
Why are christians so concerned about death if death means they get to be with god in happy land?
Surely Terri’s parents, all of Mr Fallwells flock (or whatever they are called) and the popes millions should be happy they are off to heaven?
