Jewhoo.com leads to Disney's site? Wha' happen?

So I tried to go to Jewhoo.com, which hitherto was a Yahoo-spoof site pertaining to Jewish culture (especially with its directory of famous Jews), but it now leads to Disney.go.com. Anyone know what’s up?

Still works for me. You might want to do a spyware check and make sure you weren’t mispelling “jewhoo” as “disney.go”

If I were to create a Yahoo-spoof site pertaining to Jewish culture I would have called it Yahjew or, hey, how about YaHooWaHoo? that would be a good one.

“Jewhoo” sounds like you’re trying to say “Yahoo” with a bad Mexican accent (“If jou can’t find what jou’re looking for jou should do a jewhoo search.”). So I would use that as a name for a Yahoo-spoof site pertaining to Hispanic culture.

O.K., I guess that would be more like “Jahoo” than “Jewhoo”.

But if it *is *the Unpronouncable name of G-d, you could burst into flames at your computer desk!

(Lon Milo DuQuette actually lists that as one of the possible pronounciations of YHVH - the God of Cowboys, I believe.)

And Larry Gonick’s little narrator in ‘Cartoon History of the World’ gets struck by lightning when he says that.

Huh, okay, it works for me, too, now, upon typing it in. I was hitting the Google link all this time. Perhaps it’s there that that problem exists.

I didn’t think it was spyware—I’m about as on top of that as I could ever be.

Thanks!
