Snopes has already reported on this. It’s not clear who is responsible. Denis Pushilin, whose signature is on the flyers, says that he and his organization are not behind it. It’s possible that someone created the flyers to discredit the Donetsk separatist movement. It’s possible the flyers are real and that Pushilin is denying responsibility now that he and his organization have been caught out. It’s also possible that someone within the separatist movement created the flyers without Pushilin’s knowledge.
A round-up of Jews (even the threat of a round-up) would be a pretty stupid move on the part of the rebels. That doesn’t mean they didn’t do this, though. In any case, it’s very ugly and damned scary.

I have a friend whose family emigrated from Ukraine when he was a kid. He is Jewish. He still has contacts there. He has been telling us that it is not 100% bullshit, but would be fairly easy to implement if some dumbass decided to do so.
Mixed message here: Is he saying it isn’t 100% bullshit because it has started to happen, or is he saying that it hasn’t happened yet but in his opinion it could in the future?
