JNCO Jeans are back!!!

You’ve said this is two threads and it just baffles me. How are regular pants restrictive? I have never put on a regular pair of pants that were my size and actually felt like I needed a giant wall of fabric to cover my pasty white ass to be comfortable.

So what’s the deal?

Ravers that were “all dark and shit”? In Slipknot t-shirts? Strange class of rave you got out your way.

Sorry if I forgot an “and.” Ravers AND the poser metal rocker kids that wore Slipknot shirts. And honestly here in the burbs I think we had like one actual person who went to raves regularly and was into kandi or whatever you call it, the rest were just trying to stand out and look different. My whole point was the only kids that wore JNCOs were the ones who went through those phases early in high school, trying desperately to “freak out the preppies” even though no one gave a crap who wore what really.

Thank you so much for posting this! I haven’t heard anything about Jnco jeans in ages!

OMG! There were replies and questions and I let this thread die somehow. :frowning:

To be able to completely answer this question I’d have to see you in your “comfortable” pants.

But to me, by comfortable I mean when I walk, the fabric around my legs isn’t stretched or pulled tout. JNCOs are loose, move freely and are wide enough to keep my legs from pulling on them while I’m walking.

Sitting down and putting a foot on top of the opposite knee is a good example. “Comfortable” pants I’ve seen people advocate ride up by half a foot! I’ve experienced that before and it’s not at all comfortable.

Is the picture getting clearer at least?

I assure you, I am not trying to freak anyone out. No weirdly dyed hair, no eyeliner or any of that goth and/or raver shit (okay, maybe an occasional Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd t-shirt, got a problem with those too?).

I just simply like my jeans to be loose. Is that so hard to understand?

Join the club.

Same here man, but some people like that tight uncomfortable feeling and the legs of their jeans riding up.

Hey, more JNCOs for us! Amiright?

I dunno, to me these are normal jeans: Gap
I’m wearing them now in fact, just in a longer length. They are not too tight anywhere. I can walk. I can sit. I can bend over, cross my legs, etc. There is no uncomfortable pulling or anything.

And when I think JNCO I think these: Rankopedia - Find the best online casinos And I find them to be absolutely ridiculous as a clothing item.

I didn’t know it was that difficult for people to wear average jeans?

People like what people like.

Who wants to be average?

No shit. I’m not at all average, and I require my clothing to be similarly spectacular.

swoons at the presence of his hero making an appearance in the thread again

Hell yeah man.

This thread is bizarre. Keep going…

Just give us another week or so for the new shipment to go out and we’ll all flood back here with pics of our respective scores.

I cannot wait.

This is like watching a bunch of my peers getting all jazzed about the return of Z. Cavariccis.

Well, I got a note from Jnco that the website is sort of up.

Click on “shop” to see product, or just go to

I don’t give a flying fuck about t-shirts, but if you go to “denim” you can see 10 new pairs of jeans. After looking at them all, I have to say:

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, JNCO???

Your fans don’t want pre-ripped jeans, we don’t want jeans that are pre-creased at the crotch, we don’t want tiny little back pockets WITH FLAPS COVERING THEM UP!!!

We don’t want tight fucking skinny ass emo fucking jeans! Give us back the big, comfortable, good looking jeans we bought by the truckload during the first half of this decade.

FFS, did you do any market research? Or did you just go Hot Topic and take pictures of the kids who shop there?

…and…

SIXTY FUCKING DOLLARS??? FOR RIPPED JEANS THAT LOOK LIKE SOME ASSHAT WORE THEM WHILE SOAKED IN MOTOR OIL? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND?

I won’t be buying any of this crap. Nada. Zero dollars in revenue from me, Jnco.

PLEASE get your head in the right place and make the type of clothes so many of us loved before. Please.

[/rant off]

Yes, I’m emailing my concerns back to the designer, and also to the sales staff, the owner, the manager, the shipping guy, the receptionist… everyone I can find at Jnco.

Those of you who were fans of their clothes, if you feel the same, note that the contact page is up, and has an address, phone # and email.

ALSO: the website is unbelievably slow. Be patient and the page will load.

Can I know the e-mails for all these people too?

The one under “contact” is probably just getting fitered by some flunky anyway. :frowning:

Thanks for the link, Eli.

I hope I can offer some comments.

First, the website is unbelievable slow to load pages. Hopefully that’s something that your web guys at Newthink can fix.

Second, these jeans look terrible. The only thing that even evokes the Jnco trademark style is the artwork on the pockets. Pockets which, I noted, are not only small like Levi’s or Lee jeans (or almost any other major brand available) but also have a flap on them. No one wants flaps on jean pockets, and we bought Jnco’s for the huge rear pockets specifically.

I’ll be looking for these in stores so I can see them up close, but from the pictures on the website, these all look like tight fitting emo kid jeans, not the big, baggy, comfortable clothes that Jnco was famous (and sought after) for.

Most of us don’t want our clothes pre-ripped. Most of us don’t want our clothes pre-creased at the crotch. Most of us don’t want our new clothes to look like some skinny emo kid wore them for 10 days while sitting in motor oil.

Third, $60 is too much for a pair of jeans. I used to get your jeans & shorts at JCPenney for $25-40 a pair. The country is in a recession, money is tight for everyone. $60 is just too much for a pair of pants, particularly ones that look like they’ve already been worn and put thru the ringer.

I hope that you have new styles coming, and that y’all truly return to the aspects that made Jnco unique and a trendsetter. I’ll gladly scoop up those jeans and shorts by the truckload, even with the inflated price tag.

But from what I saw on your website today, it’s no dice. Maybe the 14 year emo kids who shop at Hot Topic will buy them, but not the majority of your previous fans.

I’ll keep watching to see if Jnco returns to the styles, fit, and big pockets that made you a true star in the fashion universe. I hope you will.

I wonder why their sales dropped in the first place. I guess they had stats or something that said no one is buying their big pocket shoe covering shorts. I bet they would use their old style if it was still in style. Maybe, since your close to the whole company, you could have some special order jeans made for you two.
