Can anyone answer my question about Iris? Where’s all the hostility towards her coming from?
“Jaon n Adam blong together!” basically. My guess is if she wasn’t a foil to Joan’s romantic(?) inclinations towards Adam, no one would dislike her much.
Hm. I understand that but it seems like people hate her even more than that, or rather, that’s what I’m getting from reading these threads.
I personally have no problem with her and hope her and Adam have a season long romance or something. I don’t want the writers to rush the Joan and Adam thing… draw it out, make it more dramatic. Throwing them together so soon cheapens it.
Hell, I actually wish Adam were still mad at Joan and that he was dating Iris now without ever having resolved his dispute with her. That’d make everything even more interesting. That’s just me though.
I’ve noticed some gimmickry in the writing recently as well. I wish they’d get over it and go back to the higher quality writing they were doing earlier in the season.
