Yep, after taking last semester off from working, I’ve managed an interview for one of the first (real, as opposd to something I applied for just to have something to pay the rent) positions I applied for. It’s an evening assistant librarian position with a small local college.
If I get it, it will solve the Three or four class dilemna I struggled with, as two of my classes are evening classes - One evening class is fine, but two a week would be pushing it - and the real library experience would probably do me just as much good as my Wednesday evening class (advanced information retrieval). Not that the class doesn’t have valuable information, but having the experience will be at least as helpful as the class when I finish this program (and if past job hunts are any clue…more helpful).
Hope you do well. Remember to wear glasses and have your hair up. Oh, and plenty of tweed never goes amiss.
Plus bright red lipstick…that’s the ticket…yes.
