To be serious though… I grokked what the op was going for immediately as I’ve seen some of the same stories. Magats are trying to hang the hypocrite label on Biden because he’s pro-choice but also Catholic. (It’s like they think it’s still the 1950s)

If being actively pro-choice and Catholic is a sign of senility, then I know a lot of senile Catholics (some quite young.)
I seem to remember the Pope actually saying something about respecting the separation of Church and State. So that would suggest to me that he would not be for enshrining the Catholic belief on abortion into secular law. Or, at least, would let that be something up to the individual.

Wonder if it’s possible to invade from space in a way that you don’t enter Italy. It may be very expensive and technologically challenging but also you wouldn’t need that many special forces to take it as long as the Vatican doesn’t have the Arc of the Convenient.
