Meh! It doesn’t take religion to be bigoted against gays, all it takes is social conformity or a little bit of social conservatism, plus, maybe, a little bit of discomfort and uncertainty about your own sexuality.
Ten years ago (or less), almost everyone would have thought gay marriage was a bad, or even absurd, idea. Twenty years ago, probably even most gay people would have thought so.
I think you should embrace your newly-discovered homosexuality. Divorce your wife, meet a nice guy and proceed to annoy him and complain about his appearance instead of the wife for a while. At least until he divorces you. In the meantime, you’ve doubled your wardrobe.

Until JC returns (as the prophecy predicts) lemme mention something I’ve noticed. I know a few people who would say that they do not support gay marriage, etc because it has no effect on them. Because they are not gay they just never think about the subject. If accused of being a bigot, they’re totally shocked.

She’s had more abusive relationships in the past…
I think for better advice people need to have in depth knowledge of the situation.
I also broke up with my wife a few years ago due to advice from these boards.
