That’s a fair assessment, sure.
The math works out. I wonder who my 3 wolf buddies will be?![]()
I could probably guess 1 or 2, but the last one would kill me. :o
How many power roles would there likely be in this scenario?
Anywhere from 0 to 15, depending on the set-up.
Well, that certainly clears things up.
Only one group of people in this game are not confused , and they all need to be lynched , so based on your user name , you are almost confirmed town in my eyes .
Johnny will likely keep things simple, so 2-6 powers. The real fun is when you have 37 players, everyone has powers and nobody knows what they are.
Yeesh! that made my head hurt just reading the setup!
You guys don’t even stop to take a breath! Mafia-marathon. I think I’m gonna sit this one out. I’m predicting a lot of frustration the coming weeks anyway.
A perfect storm of an all power role / closed set up / peeked - pizza collision / multiple different board newcomers / different board style / an even more OTT peeker/ multi sub in and out comedy fest.
Looking back it was only two months wheels up to down for that game , which isntbthat far off for the small we more vanilla games .
Depending on board culture for this games I’d say aiming for something that takes 6-10 weeks to play is about right which is 6-10!game play cycles
I’ve gotten three pages into that thread, and I’m getting really annoyed with “fakepeek”.
I gave up on it after reading thru the end of day one. Not sure I want to ever get involved in a game with that many people in it.
I didn’t even bother trying to read that thread. Craziness.
Since we’re already up to 15 players, I will cut off signups this afternoon.
I can confirm I would like to play, please.
As I’m a newbie, please could you make me a townie? It seems that’s a bit easier and less of a time-sink. Thanks!
Unfortunately I can’t guarantee that. The game hinges on all of the roles being randomized and I will be using a random number generator in the interest of fairness.
In the very first game of Mafia I ever played (here on these very boards), I ended up being the Alpha Wolf.
Much less of a time sink indeed; as a confirmed townie, you would be killed Night One.
No, **Dead Cat ** would be protected the first night unless the Town was so dense as to lynch their Guardian the first day.
Is that a role claim already? I dibs Ultimate Backup.
Ahh, but that’s just what they **want **you to think!
