I agree with you – they would have known multiples were a real possibility.
If reducing “isn’t an option” for some people, then those people shouldn’t be getting loaded up with fertility drugs in order to have singles. It was irresponsible for these two emotional children to have a litter of babies.
That’s another problem with the show. It started out being about the struggles of trying to raise eight kids, which, on the surface anyway, is an interesting idea.
From what I saw, however, in the later seasons it turned more into a celebrity of the week - Hey, look it’s Emeril, or it’s the guys from American Chopper! - or fancy outing of the week type show.
You’re right–I retract my comment in the sense that it was a bad choice to have fertility treatments knowing multiples were likely.
