Blurf.
rigs, see, if you wear a skirt, you will have all these men following you around and getting in your way. So…pants.
rosie, hope you get rid of that cough soon.
boofae, that’s what it’s like when we go out with my sister and her hubby. They are always running outside for a puff.
I am so glad noonie’s back to his old flirty self.
Okay, since I have arrived before the bear, today is my birfday so I can request a song.
And now I need some coffee.
Tupug
I’m pretty sure that’s a feature, not a bug…
Hey!!!
I am not old!
Well, OK… I admit I’m closer to 30 than I am to 20, but… sheesh!!!
Ooh… Happy Birthday, Puggsy!! :D:D:D
Many happies, Pugs!
So, what are you doing to celebrate apart from coming in here and flirting with Nooner? Not that he needs any encouragement, if you ask me.
rigs - I vote for the skirt as well although mine would have to involve knee-length boots too. That’s only 'cos they’re the only sort I’ve got at the moment unless you could the calf-length boots with the 5" heels which aren’t exactly ‘appropriate’ for the office.
Today, however, I am wearing jeans to disappoint the lads.
Happy Birthday, Pugs!
Do y’all realize that I have firsties on two pages in this MMP, and one on the last one - and I didn’t even notice until now??
Happy Birthday to PUUUUGS,
Happy Birthday to PUUUUUUGS,
Happy Birthday, dear PUGSY,
Happy Birthday to YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
If you can’t sing right, sing enthusiastic.
Happy Birthday Pugs!!!
Happy birthday Pugs!
Things’ll pick up this weekend for the holiday. I don’t know about next week, but after that things’ll pick up for the leaf season. It’s the recession is all. I hope it stays busy the rest of the year because I love this place and tourism keeps it alive.
As for how I’m doin’…pretty well, in fact. Except that I’m overanalyzing the message I sent to Cute Coworker on FB last night. Dammit, brain, stop doing that. Oh, he’s cute and socially graceful and he’s a wide-eyed idealist. He couldn’t try harder to make me like him more. Okay I’ll shut up now.
Today is Day Off #1. For once, I have no plans. I’m gonna head downtown to grab some lunch as soon as my jeans get out of the dryer and then I’ll play it by ear. I want to see Inglorious Basterds tonight, but if that falls through (again) I’ll hit up the matinee tomorrow after my meeting with the mentor people at the city schools.
Much thanks to my coworker who would not allow the drunken, hostile student call me at home to get into my (closed) class.
Thank you.
Happy Birthday Pugs!!
Sorry to offend the delicate sensibilities with my TMI yesterday.
No I’m not.
KT felt kind of blurfy in the tummy yesterday too. Must have been something we both ate. Yuck. At least it’s gone today.
I’m loving this fall weather here, too, FCM. Very similar to the weather you’re having - overnight lows in the 50s and highs in the mid-70s. Gorgeous. I’m just wondering if it’s fall-like enough to start making apple desserts and casseroles and stews and the like. At the moment it’s a moot point as I have summer foods - a giant heirloom tomato and leftover smoked duck - from the farmers’ market that we have to eat up first. But I’m really ready for fall food. KT makes awesome seafood-free gumbo and corn bread. Can’t wait!
I can haz fall weather too? Right now, we’re having overnight lows in the 90s and highs in the 100s (heat index in the 110s).
Happy Birthday Pugsy!!
Sure. Come visit any time!
Mmmmmmm… Adagio makes a hazelnut (N.O.H.)tea (black tea) that’s sooooooo good. I just got a delivery of another 8 oz of the stuff yesterday.
Another good part of fall, or at least late fall - Adagio puts out their line of holiday tea, which includes my two favorite teas ever, gingerbread tea and chestnut tea. Can’t wait! (I just wish they carried them year round!)
Just a drive by:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUGSY!!!
Thanks everybody!! I am soooooooooo full. I had my favorite Parmesan Encrusted Sole with spinach and sun dried tomato rizzoto for my birthday lunch. Lotto garlic in that rizzoto but it is yummy.

Yup, sounds like you’re doing OK
If there’s one thing I know about cooking*, it’s “there ain’t no such thing as ‘Too Much Garlic!’”
*However, It is far from certain that there is one thing I know about cooking…

And that, newbies, is what you have to look forward to on your birthday.
Happy B’Day Pugs!!!
It is much cooler here in Paris as well - much easier to sleep!
Hugs to all!
Firstly …
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUGS!!!
And a belated Welcome! to all the newbies, it’s good to see you all. We’re a friendly bunch and don’t bite … much.
Three down, two to go to the weekend, woo hoo! The weather continues to be just delightful, very fall-ish (it was almost cold this morning!) I just ate three sour pickle sandwich slices and am drinking raspberry seltzer water. I’m being good now.
I have training tomorrow, Firday and again on Tuesday. It’s a three day training. So, I have three days to forget everything I learnt the first two days. Or did I already mention that?
Also, I got me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for hamburger steak. I know, glorified hamburger patties with onion gravy but I’m jonesin’ for some! Thus, I am thawin’ out ground beast which I shall transform into hamburger steak on Firday. I also want rice and green beans with it. It’ll be just like eatin’ at that paragon of fine dinin’ known as Three Squares Diner I’m always goin’ on about. Except nobody’s gonna ask me, “whatcha havin’ tonight hon!” Down south, at least, it ain’t a real diner unless your waitress calls ya “hon”.
Oh and I don’t have to be at work until eight a.m. Course I gotta stay there until four p.m. I suffer so!
Finally I get caught up! First:
Happy Puggy Day!!!
Second, I make goooooooooood lasagna. We ate half and the other half is in the freezer.
Third - my feet are cold - brrrrrrrrrrrrr
Fourth, that’s all I got. One day closer to Firday…
