Just Because I Can... Starting The MMP Early

Puggy, are you 29?

Skirt, check–but neither pencil or straight. It was an A line, but of a soft fabric, kind of peasant-y, but not peasant-y in “mood”. It’s black, gray, white and blue. Small pattern.

Blouse/tight sweater (twin set)-nope, I wore a black T shirt.

No buttons to button up.

Hair ended up in pony tail as it kept falling out of its clip.

Glasses on head or on nose, depending.

Sensible shoes, check–wore Mary Janes (black leather) and actually wore gym shoes to walk to the train etc. I used to not like that “look” but my feet hurt too much if I walk that mile in work shoes.

No hose. I hate hose and so I choose skirts etc that are informal enough for me to get away with not wearing any. I probably won’t wear skirts/dresses in winter because I hate hose so much.

I’d post a pic, but I’m home now and have already changed into yoga pants and flipflops. Aaaaaaahhhhh.
I’m beginning to like skirts, though–I now have 4 and one work dress. I loved today and had a lot of fun–who knew work could be FUN?

But tomorrow I’m back to being the nurse minion. :frowning:

Sorry, didn’t really read for retention or else I’m brain dead by now. Or both.

It seems someone had a birthday… I wonder who?
I did indeed have some men following me around today, but they were residents. 2 things to know about residents: they all look like they’re 12 to me and they aren’t making any money (yet)–they’re residents!

boys, boys, don’t fight over me. There’s plenty (and I do mean plenty;)) to go around:)

happy birthday pugsy!!!

GMTA & junk

Hi!

Happy Birthday, Puggy!!!

Got home from work about 20 minutes ago. Still have work stuff to do (Some will get done at the airport tomorrow, some once I’m at my travel destination.)

I’ll post more tomorrow… I need to pack and make sure I’m all ready to go. I think my flight leaves at 8:30.

Hugs all.

GT

Does your Mother know you are flirting with these…what is a guy shikse, already?

I was at work over twelve hours today. I am tired, so please excuse my lack of retention on the above posts.

Damn it, I’m really hating my job right now.

I hope my attitude improves soon.

Hugs and smooches to all of you. You all make me smile.

for some reason “goyishe-kopf” comes to mind.

I worked, I went bowling. For the 3 games I bowled for my handicap, I bowled a 22, a 56, and a 49, for a handicap of 169. The next three were 68, 74, and 98.(No I’m not a ringer, just a fast learner, and the Yuenglings helped). There’s a layer of ice in the RBC Center!

Taters, sounds like somebody has a case of the Mondays. Seriously, I hope it gets better.

Have a good flight, gt!

Happy Birthday, Puggy!!!

But it’s the manly thing to do!

Ugh, have huge headache and must deal with stupidity such as sentences like:

You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I just finished learning more about XSD than I ever wanted to know…
(XSD is sort of a meta-XML language – it lets you define an XML “language” for an interface. If you didn’t understand any of this and you’re not a computer person – it’s OK, you have just retained your sanity!!!)

Argh.

GMTA? I’m afraid it’s not our minds that are “great.” :o

Not quite what we all had in mind, but still sounds like you we could have used some cites

Well, if you had followed our recommendations more closely, you’d have had a better class of minions following you around!

Not being a shikse of either genderal* persuasion, I wouldn’t know

*is too a word!!!

And this still surprises you in dealing with *supposedly *literate and intelligent people… why? :frowning:

One day closer to the weekend! I went out for beerverages last night, then had a bottle of Wyre Piddle’s finest when I got home, followed by some strawberry gin. Not necessarily the best plan for a school night, but I just felt like it.

Had a discussion with 'im indoors about what to do on our trip then realised today that in two week’s time I’ll be in New York. Woohoo!

Well, maybe you stumbled into a sleep study clinic?

I am up quite early and off to work. Work called me at 11pm to ask if I could come in at 0530, so Rigs is beauty sleep deprived and feeling pretty damned enervated herself. The ONE good thing is I get off at 2pm and I will be coming home to take a nap. Gah.

gotta shake the blurfage off today - tonight at chorus we’re performing in quartets for each other

Happy virtual Firday, everyone.

Fixed the lawnmower, and tested it last night. Now I need to change the air filters on it.

Apparently, VWife has a 4 day slave-away planned for me this weekend. I counted on major slothage instead; we’ll see who is dominant.

Happy Birthday** Puggy**! I think my last post was before your birthday announcement.

Just one small lunch today and he called at the last minute for it which means I need to do a little bit of shopping. However, I should be able to just run down to the local Amish market and buy what I need. I love that place and it’s about 2 minutes away as opposed to Giant Eagle which is about 7 minutes away and takes longer to navigate the whole store. Plus, I’m a procrastinator and don’t feel like going yet and the Amish place doesn’t open until 8:30.:stuck_out_tongue:

Yesterday we had DirectTV installed. The poor guy was here from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.! As far as I can tell the only food and drink that he had was a Pepsi and a piece of pound cake that I gave him. He was very nice, though. He even called me back after he left to say that he only lived about 10 minutes away and that if we had a problem that we could try calling him first.

Good morning!

We got the results back from Dad’s bloodwork. Evrything is fine! Urine test was normal. Chest x-ray was normal. So the doc prescribed a diuretic. Let’s hope that gets the swelling down. Today we go see the GI doc, and get a colonoscopy set up. I’m leaving at lunch time, having lunch with an ex-coworker, then I’ll head home.

We had a couple of days of low humidity and lowered temperatures - a high of 92° feels marvelous with low humidity! We’re supposed to get some thunderboomers late tonight, so the humid is coming back. :frowning: C’mon fall! I’m ready for some mid 80’s!

Newbies - don’t be intimidated by all the chatter here. Hell, *we *can’t even keep up! Just post what you want, when you want - it’s all good!

goyishe-kopf

I feel your pain. Mr. Anachi went to big box electronix store yesterday and bought a new 40" HDTV and was too impatient to let them deliver and install it on Tuesday. Whatever happened to buying a TV and bringing it home, plugging it in, and sitting down to watch? To make a long story short…TV not working yet…experts must be consulted. :stuck_out_tongue:

How does one get past the “piddle” part of that beverage enough to consume it???

Ditto. Taking tomorrow of to make it a nice long weekend…even if I do have to run back to the big box electronix store for some dubiators and fumdiddlers, and then sit around and wait for a geek.

Oh, and, why, yes…I am, er, 29. Yeah! That’s the ticket!

Good news about your pa, rebo. I need to go have a poop cam done, too. :stuck_out_tongue: It’s not really the procedure, it’s all the “crap” beforehand. (Was that too many shite jokes?? Sorry…)

Off to do some work.
