I hereby declare this weekend “Send somebody an e-card just for the hell of it” weekend.
I did it!
Right, right, okay then…
runs round room in a panic
Oh, the pressure. Actually, no-one’s sent me an e-card in months. I feel quite hard done by now. Okay then, does it have to be a nice one?
Well, somebody out there is going to be annoyed at me soon when Blue Mountain puts her on their spam list.
You can’t tell me what to do!!! Well you can, but I don’t have to listen. But I send them all the time anyway, just because. Several Dopers can attest to that!
Yes, submit your friend’s e-mail addresses to lots of websites under the guise of ‘free’ e-cards so they can get Special Offers and Deals in their Inbox every day. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
Now, do I look annoyed to you?
I sent a cousin 49 ecards on his last birthday, his 49th. I have a cable modem so it only took me a few minutes to view and send everything. He is stuck with a dial-up connection and it takes a couple of minutes for each card to be downloaded. He told me it took him a couple of hours to look at all the cards. And, you may be asking why would someone spend that amount of time downloading ecards? They all had pictures of nekked women. Hehehe.
I’m with jinwicked on this one.
I don’t send e-cards, and I don’t like it when people send them to me.
Well, no nekkid women but still a pretty cool picture of a bike and a red VW bug in the one that Walt sent me. Have no idea whether that’s a real name or screen name, but a very nice thought and so far no extra spam in the inbox. Thanks, Walt!
That’s alright dear, I’ll have your spam: I love it! I’m having spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, eggs and spam…
The novelty wore off a long time ago…
Well, that’d be me. I thought I put Walt (Jester) in the title line, but hey, whichever works. Glad I came back to check the thread, though…
[sub][Chris Farley]So STUPID!! Can’t even make a FRIKKIN’ E-CARD RIGHT!! STUPID!![/Chris Farley]

E-cards were fun like 5 or 6 years ago… I remember sending e-flowers to people.
Wow, that’s going way back…
