This isn’t just post-count padding. It seems to me that my post-count never goes above 167. I’m pretty sure that it was 167 a few posts ago. Just trying this to see if I can get it to go up.

I think I know what’s confusing you, Moebius. Whenever you post a new message, your post count goes up not just for that message, but for all messages you’ve made in the past, as well. If you look under my name, you’ll see my number (somewhere around 3100, I believe, as of this post). If you then search up one of my posts from last May, you’ll see that same number under my name, even though I had far fewer posts at that time.
