Because, plot, and the magic of Wynn Duffy, mostly. That’s (at least) two death by explosives he’s been in the same room as. That would make for an interesting Mythbusters. “What’s the minimum amount of explosive to completely obliterate a human body, and how close can bystanders be without being killed?”
Or even having their hair ruffled, for that matter.
Ok I’ll admit to being a touch twisted, but that was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in awhile. Still chuckle when I think about it.
Was it clear who actually had the phone that tripped the explosive?
That was pretty damn funny.
I can’t help imagining Duffy and Boyd looking over at each other and one of them saying, “So, do you know anyone *else *who can get us into that safe?”
I thought it was pretty clear that Wiz, the safecracker, had the phone in his pocket. He was so careful about making sure that Boyd and Wynn left their phones behind but forgot to leave his.
And did they say that the safe had walls of solid steel sixteen inches thick? How the heck do they use explosives to get into it without destroying the contents?
‘carefully’
I think the idea was to use the explosives to destroy the locking mechanism from the inside -
The bad guys, like bad guys in real life, are so stupid. The cell phone thing was hilarious. Like Danny Crow falling into his own trap last season.
I’m almost certain this was the case because both Boyd and Winn just looked confused when the phone started ringing.
Yep :).
FWIW… Timothy Olyphant was hilarious on Conan the other night.
I wonder what he’ll do next?
think Justified is one of the best shows on television today. It centers around a U.S. Marshal, Raylan Givens, who is the equivalent in today’s world as a wild west cowboy. He was stationed in Miami until he killed a gun thug. Because he shot this guy in a restaurant with civilians around, he gets moved to the Eastern Kentucky office. Raylan is originally from Kentucky and does not want to go back. Once he is back in Kentucky things get really interesting.
Geez, ever hear of a spoiler box?
Something happen with this thread? I was sure some people made posts over the weekend; now they’re gone.
It was a pretty blah episode except for Bob, and not really worthy of comment, it would seem. Disjointed and stilted.
yeah - and lots of ‘what the ???’
Like how did Ava get her jeep/truck back from the holler?
I still don’t get what they were hoping to do @ the bridge - does that somehow tunnell back tot eh pizza joint?
And you don’t come out immediately from the hidden room to check on your CI - the bad guys could still hear/see you - hell , really stupid of the bad guys to NOT be standing/listening at the door for a few minutes or to see if the hooker shows up.
I thought the same thing, but I REALLY wanted to see Tim take down Duffy and Mike.
Also, tasers don’t generally knock people out cold, especially when the tasee is healthy and strong. The scenes just seemed very contrived to me and the writing seemed lazy.
It is my understanding that the tunnel is about 180 yards short of being underneath the pizza bank vault at the far end. That is still a lot of work for a small crew.
And Ava knows well what Limehouse is capable of. Right now he’s going to be mighty pissed at her. Uncertain how she thinks she could just casually fuck him over and go back to life.
Well, this isn’t going to go well for Ava. Limehouse is calling Boyd. Also, I think Boyd knows he was lucky to survive his murder attempt.
The Ava hotness factor continues to get better and better.
