Well now that I have beaten the hangover Demon, I just want to say I had a great time, and you guys are nuts.
MonkeyMule, you’re doing better than I am. I still have a stabbity pain above my left eye, in spite of the 57 gallons of water I drank today to try to make it go away. Bastards.

I wouldn’t presume to attend such an event until I have spent much more time here. But how did it all work out? Did you wear name tags? I hope not.
This board is special. I mean that in a good way. 
wakimika, not like I was at this particular Dopefest or anything, but usually nametags are unnecessary, because local Dopers get to know each other pretty well. Heck, I live in Chicago, and I’ve met ten of the people on manny’s list, some more than once.
When I have more breathing time, I’m going to give it its own thread. But in the meantime:
I had a great time, you ALL rock and the sight of the dancing on the bar in Walkers is going to live with me for a very long time…
(And I don’t care what monkeymule says. Or anyone else for that matter. 5 days is a perfectly respectable length of time for a sports match and a draw is always the most gentlemanly result).
