Anyone want to make Stanley Cup bets for next season?

But still no goalie? I would think it would be more important for them to replace Roi rather than pick up a couple more goalscorers…especially since they actually kept Forsberg.

Although his playing time has been limited (thanks to Roy), David Aebischer’s stats aren’t terrible. Guess we’ll see next year.
Certainly, but he’s no Roi. And the Avs appear to have Stanley Cup aspirations, as they do every year. Aebischer, IMO, ain’t Stanley Cup material. I have seen him play several times. Good goalie, but not that good.

I just made 2 monstrous posts about it in this thread and i want people to see them, so I’m uh, semi-hijacking your thread here dear sir/madam. 
pure - no worries, they’re relevant posts and well worth reading. After reading them, the Avs are very much now like the Penguins the year they were expected to win the stanley cup - and didn’t. I don’t remember the year but I think it was directly after their two wins. They have two awesome lines but you worry about them after that. Sure, their goalie was good, but nothing spectacular.
