The correct answer is “I need to see and feel your tits before I can answer that question”.
Having a girlfriend may not disqualify you from being a contestant, but it will likely lessen your chances. The show isn’t the worst of the worst (especially since that bar keeps getting lowered), but rest assured – if you get on, there is an extremely good chance that you will come off looking like an ass, be ‘encouraged’ to say some things you wouldn’t otherwise, and see clips of yourself saying and doing things that have been taken completely out of context.
And if you love your girlfriend, which doesn’t really seem to be the case (yeah, not everyone marries the hottest person in the world, but you come across as passionate as lukewarm soup), there is a great chance your relationship will not last through taping or, at the very least, the show’s airing.
I haven’t seen the show, but is it likely that one of the Beauties will ask if they’re prettier than your girlfriend? It strikes me as a pretty immature question to ask - the sort of thing you might hear a catty high school girl say. I can’t imagine that it would even come up.
But in the unlikely event that you made the show and also unlikely event that some woman was idiotic enough to ask a question that made her seem really desperate and insecure (umm, you’re a gorgeous model and he’s a geek who didn’t start dating until 29 … what do you think?) just say something like “well my girlfriend isn’t a model or anything, but she’s beautiful to me. She has a really great smile, etc”.
That’s how I feel but despite that she showers me with compliments and affection fairly often.
Thanks for the advice though I’d have to redefine what I mean by beautiful for her to fit it. She’s pretty beautiful though. Yesterday we were talking about her teeth… she said people say that her teeth are tiny and look like kid’s teeth. I agreed. If her mouth is closed she has a great smile though.
I have seen the show. It would come up. The girls are quite lovely, but tact and intelligence is not something they look for in contestants.

Why do you want to go on the show?
On the application form I might write something like “Personal growth, 15 minutes of fame, some extra cash” (they pay you an allowance for being on the show and I’ve never had a proper job - I get a pension though for my mental illness - though I’m doing a full-time university course)

Well yesterday she was asking if I just wanted to be friends and also she was wondering if I believed in marriage… I said I’d thought about marriage… and kids. BTW since I’m anonymous here (for the time being) I might also mention that since I’ve had my mental illness (schizo-affective disorder) I get no physical pleasure out of sex. And it could be from my brain rather than the medication… apparently about 85% of men and women with that illness have the same problem. I enjoy sex though…

Look, my friend, it seems as though you have some fairly serious issues in life. I don’t think going on this TV show is a viable solution to these problems. I don’t mean any disrespect. What are you trying to get out of this, anyway? Assuming that you are telling the truth and not someone looking to get a rise out of us, I doubt you are going to be selected for that show if you are currently being treated for schizoaffective disorder.

Bingo. BTW, she sometimes says she wants to be a size 10 (rather than a size 16) and she says she’ll try when I start going to the gym (I signed up for a year for $900 but haven’t been for months). Today I did 5 pushups in a row though. (which is a lot for me at the moment)

I haven’t had an episode for about 2.5 years. And for the show I’ll call it “bipolar disorder” (which my case manager says is accurate enough). I want to audition at least.
It might make things worse but I like a little drama. It would be a good experience I think - well something I can get enthusiastic about at least.
My girlfriend sent me the following message (with the names removed)
“i do not like the fact u r going on the show because u have a girl friend i have to tell u how i feel”
I got teary and replied:
“Ok i wont audition. I dont want 2 upset u”
But I didn’t say I wouldn’t visit the auditions… bwahahaha! I’ll just refuse to audition and use my girlfriend as the excuse.
