OK, so he richly deserves pitting and I’ll leave it to the other posters who are much better at flaming to actually rant at this fucker, but the rag that printed the earlier article about whites didn’t get any flak for that article? Where was the outrage then? So, who should get pitted, Kenneth Eng for being an ignorant twat, Asian Week for printing it or those folks who are outraged about his commentary on blacks but do not condem him for his views on whites? The mind boggles.
He also hates Asians. We all know, of course, why he only gets flak for hating black people. Groups claiming to represent blacks take offense much more easily than their white or Asian counterparts.
(Now let the search for a more politically correct explanation begin)
True to an extent. Look at point 5 and his use of the word “Aryans” among other not so subtle ways to “indict” whites. I also missed his Asian rant. Is this guy just an attention whore, saying anything to get noticed? If so, I’m sorry I brought it up and fed the troll.
Interesting guy. It seems as though he’s created his own reality and now is making a living railing against it. The two articles I read are so far out there that I wonder if they’re meant to be ironic:
If you go back to your first link you will find that they have already put up an apology distancing themselves from the author. I’m sure if you report that second link they will remove it as well.
Also, if you look at that link where he says he hates Asians, he calls himself an “Asian Supremacist.” That alone should let you know he is something to be marginalized and ignored.
Darnit! Thwarted again!
Seriously, you’re dumber than I thought if you thought that article was, despite it’s title, a serious invective against Asians.
Back to Kenneth Eng, it boggles my mind that he’s been published at all. Besides being a sloppy thinker and adherent to belief in stereotypes, he’s a terrible writer.
Well, it’s blanket condemnation of a large segment of the Asian community (apologies for pretentious phrase). Quite comparable to Chris Rock’s controversial routine, but note the lack of controversy here.
Edit: In case it’s not obvious from the preceding, yeah, I agree that Mr. Eng is an idiot. But that’s hardly under debate here.
I didn’t realize that routine was so controversial at the time (was there backlash? a demand of an apology?). Besides that, you’re missing the obvious:
While he could probably do that in a screening of, say, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and survive with a few shushes and angry glares, I suspect that enacting the same “protest” during (for example) a Jackie Chan or Jet Li movie would likely earn him a lively pummeling from annoyed, testosterone-pumped meatheads of all races, colors, and creeds.
Which the latter I strongly encourage, assuming he isn’t just a print-media troll (an assumption I’m not comfortable in making yet).
I don’t get it. How could he possibly construe this as racist? :dubious:
I mean the rest of them, sure, I’d be pissed if I heard somebody saying things like that but this?! It’s a standard greeting!
What, to do your fucking differential equations? You know what, I’m tired of little fuckwits like you expecting me to be good at math just because I’m Asian. Zat’s wacist, zat ees!
