If you’re “financially stable” why does she have to be an “affluent professional”? Why not some nice
SDMB lady with a horrible, low paying job but with excellent taste, an educated palate and a killer fashion sense?
Explain this to us a little more clearly. You want training in “the finer aspects of life (i.e. dining, wardrobe, financial matters, etc.)” from an affluent woman, while you will have monogamous sex with her. That could mean that you want a rich woman who will buy nice clothes for you, take you out to expensive restaurants, use you as her escort to other high-class events, and perhaps offer you some insider investment advice. You want her to pay for all of this, and you consider this just a temporary thing, not a matter of eternal love. If that’s what you want, you’re a gigolo. It doesn’t matter that you’re not being paid in cash. If she’s taking care of you and it’s just an arrangement, it’s prostitution, regardless of how you’re paid.
On the other hand, if you want to escort an affluent woman (and offer occasional sex) and you don’t want her to pay for anything, but you want a no-strings-attached relationship, what you want is a rich girlfriend, but one who has to understand that you will dump her the second that you have “grown beyond her” (i.e., sucked her dry of any useful information). Why don’t you try hanging out in ritsy bars and try that as a pickup line? Tell us how many times you get slapped in the face.
What on earth would motivate a man to start a thread like this, and why would you want the kind of woman who would respond positively to a thread like this?
My suggestion would be that you hire a tutor first, to learn the finer points of punctuation and grammar. Nothing is a bigger turn-off to a rich, well-educated woman than a man who can’t write well. Well, OK–conspicuous, open sores are probably higher on the list.
It’s interesting that he’s been a member for 19 months now. So…either he’s been lurking around here and knows what this board is about and has such infinite patience that he waited a year and a half to play this elaborate joke on us which is so witty and high class I can’t even begin to find the humor in, or he remembered this site from when he posted a year and a half ago but didn’t actually remember anything about it and, remembering his password, came back on in the desperate hopes that the slogan “fighting ignorance” was somehow changed to “finding affluent women not looking for a gigolo service.”

rnc54s, if you are really serious, I’d suggest that the best way to meet an affluent, well-educated woman is to be an affluent, well-educated man. If that is not a possiblity, perhaps you could get a subscription to GQ magazine, which offers many articles detailing the finer points of fashion, dining, investing and living well. I believe that if you act now, you can get a subscription for the bargain price of $12 a year.
