Just noticed they took the original unedited version of Team Blue’s song down from YouTube and put up an edited version with all the references to Star Wars (and maybe some other things, It’s about a minute shorter) removed. Nice, Disney, real Nice.

And when they announced special guest judges, my first thought was “If not Weird Al, then Frontalot”.
The lack of Al was obvious from the 1st view of the judges from behind, but at first I thought “Oates” was JoCo, which would have been pretty cool.
Though as far as nerd anthems go, once we’ve got Al’s “White and Nerdy” and “Hail to the Geek” (by the Deaf Pedestrians), what more do we need?

I can’t believe someone with a Master’s in physics could go so wrong with a physics challenge! How did she get the panes of glass problem so off? She is going to be teased back at NASA. I’m sad because Moo was my favorite nerd, I like how she was fun but low key, and not into drama.

And yes. They forgot to take the weight of the falling glass into effect. They really didn’t need to study physics for this. If the 12-pound ball can break 4 sheets, then a lower-weight ball will break fewer, and a higher weight ball will break more. I must admit, I was two off on the stuffed pig, because I thought the plushie would act as an absorber, but there must have been a solid lump of something in the pig, rather than be “stuffed” consistenly with styrofoam or packing material.
I really, really hope Ivan wins.
There certainly has been a lot of weeping on this show, gotta say that. I’m more for the “sunny disposition like Moo” type than “drama queen like Danielle and Genevieve” type.
Liked this week’s challenges and found it interesting that the exercises most likely to play to the strengths of engineers, er, didn’t.
I’m OK with any of the remaining four winning as long as it’s not by a fluke.
This has been kinda fun to watch, although the mandatory product placement seemed particularly obnoxious and most of the interpersonal stuff came off as pure filler. Hope they do this again, with a bit less of the contestants getting faced and babbling drunkenly.
Celeste’s fake crying was pretty hilarious. I’m kind of shocked that Danielle fell for it.
This has been renewed for another season.
Cool! I am liking this show. Hope they don’t ruin it with bad casting. This season was spot on.
I wonder if Robert Carradine will be back next season. He doesn’t seem to say much.
Danielle is one of those people who thinks she is incredibly witty and funny, but her humor is so forced. Classy last line there Danielle.
