Kings 3/29

Ah, now we know why the King’s son doesn’t have a steady girl.

The Queen is aware of her husband’s mistress, isn’t she? Does she also know about the kid?

Well, didn’t the King chew him out in the first episode about how he was (paraphrased) a goddamned disappointment and how he wishes the rumors about Jack and all the girls were true, because at least then he wouldn’t be a stinking homo? That was the gist of it, anyway.

What gets me is how much of a hypocrite Silas is. He was going on about how “we give up what we want when we want power” and he keeps a mistress and an illegitimate son.

I missed what happened at the end- after Silas said “Serenity has ended” (or such) and went into the hospital room. Anyone want to clue me in?

Apparently he went into the room and waited until the boy woke up. When it seemed that the child (Seth?) would be okay he kissed him and then he left. I don’t think he’s coming back. I think this is what he’s sacrificing to keep his kingdom, or for the peace.

Yah, but he’d rather have an open relationship with them. He’d rather have married his mistress.

“There is no evidence against Reverend Whoyswitchit and Whatshisname. Should some be manufactured?”

Cool.
