Apparently this was announced in the summer and I somehow missed it but the trailer was just released and is here. Woo hoo! now let’s see Space Quest come back!
I’m torn. On the one hand, the artwork looks great, and perfectly captures the feel of the original. On the other hand, though, the gameplay they show seems to include a lot of twitchy-finger stuff that really doesn’t belong in a King’s Quest game.
I didn’t see any puzzles to solve in that trailer.
The trailer looks like a fairly interesting fantasy game. But it’s not King’s Quest unless there’s some humor in it.
They got a decent Ian McKellan impersonator, anyways.
