I found that funny. Strippers might wear stockings, but I’ve never seen one wear pantyhose.
I think she looks great, but I wasn’t particularly fond of the bikini. She looks much thinner when clothed. She’s accomplished a lot with her weight loss, but I don’t think she’s quite ready to romp on the beach.
Perhaps she just meant that it was very sheer hose, not that they were stockings. Stockings would still have been obvious in a bikini.
I may be shorter than average but whenever I wear certain styles of pantyhose the tops do come all the way up to my bra, and they always have a seam like that unless they are control top, which would be way more obvious.
According to Oprah’s website, Kirstie wore “low rise” pantyhose with no seam so the mystery about that line down her front continues. Or, maybe she just has a really long happy trail or landing strip.
I’m sticking to my theory that it was a seam in the transparent middle part of the bikini (which would mean that it wasn’t really a bikini).

I figured that vertical line was simply the crevice between her labia, and rock-solid evidence that Kirstie had had more than a few facelifts.

She was on Larry King or somesuch and she’s a great interview. I like her a lot. I wouldn’t get into a bikini at that weight (I won’t do it at 110, either) but more power to her for doing it!
Apparently, we won’t be seeing another season of Fat Actress. She probably isn’t finished with her fitness program or her contract with Jenny Craig. She’s a lot smaller than she was, and what she’s showing seems to be firm.
There’s no way in hell, she’s 150 lbs. Unless she’s only about 4 feet tall. When I was 150 lbs, my waist and legs were half that size.

Maybe the “stripper hose” was more like a body stocking made out of control/shaping net. A company called Sugar Petals makes things like that for dancers. Some belly dancers, for example, wear them. Here’s a link to the Sugar Petals body stocking page:
If you scroll down, you can see illustrations of the different styles. Style 2 mentions a seam down the back. Is it possible that Kirstie was wearing that (or something similar) and had it on backwards?
