Sorry for the late notice on this, but we only just decided to do this today. Sort of a spur of the moment thing. Anyway, we’re screening a rough cut of the film tomorrow, Sept. 5th, in West L.A., at 4pm and 8pm. The screening room is pretty small, so I have to limit the number of people who can come, but I’d love to have some dopers show up and give notes, if possible. I know you guys are smart and have great taste, so I can trust your notes. Except if you tell me my film sucks, then I won’t trust your notes at all.

Can I actually review a film after five hours of sleep? I’ll try…
I liked it. Good script, good dialog, good acting, good editing. I really liked the soundtrack. (You wouldn’t know it to look at me, but I like techno.) I was grinning like a loon all the way through it. (Although the only loon I saw when I was in Canada a couple of weeks ago wasn’t grinning. It just floated around on a lake making noise.)
The cinematography and editing styles, plus the techno sound track reminded me of Run Lola Run – which I think is a great film. The characters were hilarious, especially the “sidekick” (sorry, I don’t recall his name).
Definitely worth a look, and I’ll be watching for the DVD.
Well, that’s all I can do this early in the morning without finishing my espresso.
I thought it was clever with a lot of energy and it was funny, too, although it wasn’t strictly a comedy. Good performances with a very interesting editing and film style that matched the movies mood well. I liked the dialogue because it was not self-serving, it sounded real.
I wouldn’t have thought Stiffler would be right for that role, the brainy ‘mastermind’, but he pulled it off really well. It should keep him from getting typecast as the guy from “Dude, Where’s My Car?”.
