Thursday night I’m flying to New Hampshire for a wedding. 
I wish there were a bigger, frownier frowny to express my disappointment. I really wanted to eat La Shish! And for fastbreaking… heavenly. ::biggest sad frown ever:::
I am starting to think that maybe we should postpone this a bit. Cranky is AWOL, Shadowfox and Hello Again can’t make it, and I don’t think Persephone has lined up a ride.
I will be out of commission for a few weeks, but maybe in late May or early June, we can try again. LaShish will still be there. They just don’t know what is in wait for them. 
Didn’t mean to be AWOL, but yeah, I think postponing might be the ticket. I can make it Thursday, of course, and bring Kyla with me, but postponing allows me to clean my house before my parents come.
But…but…that means I’ll have to break my fast ALL ALONE!
Oh well.
I think I’ll have pizza.

It’s all right if a postponement occurs. LaShish isn’t going anywhere, and perhaps this delay will give us more time to work out a schedule that will allow the maximum number of Dopers to come.
Well, there is this thread talking about an Ann Arbor gathering in June. Maybe just combine the efforts.
Ah yes! I’d forgotten about this.
Part of our efforts here, as I recall when we MIDopers gabbed about it, were to give Detroit-area Dopers a break from driving to Ann Arbor all the time. So I suspect that even with an Ann Arbor fling in June, we’ll still want to do a La Shish thing sometime this spring.
I’m going to bump this thread up in the hopes that Brynda jumps in here. Are we still going to do this sometime this summer?
