I got some strange PMs from a member within a day of joining this forum. This person (a female I think, but im not sure) seemed convinced that they knew me and welcomed me, however after a week or so passed, they appeared to be angry with me. I still have no clue what the fuck they were talking about…but after I explained that they were weirding me out, they stopped.
Where in the hell is MY money shot?! :mad: Oh, never mind, I have the real thing at home.

So far, never had any creepy PMs, never been groped. I guess sometimes there’s a benefit to being homely with a bad personality.

None that I can remember off-hand. I did however once get an e-mail from a doper, just sort of a hi, how are you, blah blah blah. No big deal, but then right after that, said doper posted a thread asking me if I was creeped out by his e-mail. Well, maybe not then, but now, well…
The right thing to do would have been to slip notes under the 3 or 4 houses that could be her’s and simply say that you could see her. No chance of misinterpretations that way!

I’ve gotten very limited numbers of PMs on the Dope, none sexual. First off, I’m not exactly one of the more controversial or even super interesting Dopers. Second, most people think I’m a guy.

Found out that a couple of other Dopers got similar PMs. (I didn’t report the one that I got, but apparently others did.)
The user that sent them was quietly banned, shortly after that.
Got a PM from a very active female doper with a long name who had read a post I made about my nylon foot fetish. She wanted me to describe on great detail what I like about feet and what I do with them to make me get off because she has a fetish for guys pampering her feet. She actually sent a couple pics of her feet in hose. I think she was drunk though.

Funnily enough, nearly all the PMs I’ve ever received here have been from other Doper ladies with regard to creepy or offensive posts that have been directed at me on the boards themselves. Basically just “Can you believe that guy? He’s such a jerk” sort of things.
I do remember turning off PMs at one point and leaving them off for a long time, but I can’t remember now if I’d actually received a creepy PM that prompted this. If I did, I must have deleted it and it apparently wasn’t bad enough to stick in my mind.
The “worst” PM I still have in my inbox isn’t even bad, just odd. Someone PMed me to say that they’d bumped an old (non-controversial) thread that I’d posted in. Not a thread I’d started or had even been really active in, just one I’d made a single post in months before. They weren’t even responding to my one post, just letting me know that the thread had been bumped.
