Ladies, what men's cologne drives you absolutely wild?

Issey Miyake pour homme, and summer edition. This stuff should be banned, banned I tells ya!

Oh, no you don’t! I’ve already fallen for that one.

Mambo! Does anyone know what that is, because I know, and it drives me wild!

Are you dating Ronny the Limo Driver?

Not a lady…Colognes smell different on different people, so keep that in mind.

Keeping that in mind, the three I wear are Aqua Di Gio (daytime), Armani Code and The One by Dolce and Gabbana.

The last one is a stronger scent, more for evening wear. Highly recommended, though  If you want to nerd it up on this subject, try Basenotes

There is, or was a few years ago, a cologne out called Pi. It smells vaguely of chocolate and completely like the best sex ever followed by the best hot chocolate and rum followed by more of the best sex ever. With whipped cream on top. Of the rum. Or wherever.

It’s too expensive, though; not that the price tag is that big a deal, but it wears off very quickly, as my sweetie-at-the-time found out. We’d gone smelling/shopping for new colognes for him, and it smelled SO GOOD…it just doesn’t last long.

BUT OMG YUM!!!

On the cheap, tacky but still pretty yummy side…I hate the Ax body sprays, but Ax does have a dark brown one that smells quite a bit like the Pi cologne. :stuck_out_tongue: Lasts longer, too.

Canoe or Aqua di Gio. Such memories.

Annnnnd, Sicks has his new scent. 3.3 oz for 60 bucks!? No problem!

Devin by Aramis is my favorite. I liked it so much I stole some from a boyfriend and wore it on my scarf for a while.

Polo makes me want to run away screaming, as to polo shirts.

I like Axe body spray a lot on a man under 40. Over 40 (I still like the smell), but seems a bit creepy.

On all men, I love Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. The bottle is even sexy.

I really hate smelling cologne when I’m trying to eat, but I like it at other times.

Cool water is my winter cologne, Fahrenheit is my summer cologne and Boucheron is my after hours party/clubbing cologne.

I like Grey Flannel, too. (I bought it for my father long ago, he was an Aqua Velva man, if anything, and was rather shocked at receiving this, and more shocked at how much he and the rest of the family took to it, lol.)

I knew an artsy type of man once who wore a trace of Black Cashmere, made by Donna Karan. (Not to be confused with her plain old Cashmere.) It is discontinued, sadly, but my word, did that guy ever smell enchanting! If you like incense, Black Cashmere is for you.

#1 you’re a dog. you have a g/f and yet you want to “come off good?”
#2 English Leather…(lol)

Mania, by Armani.

I’ve used colognes in the past that I’ve gotten lots of compliments on, but I’ve gotten more compliments on Mania than all my other colognes combined. I’ll never forget one time when I was out in public and this girl/young woman sort of leaned in close, closed her eyes, and drew in a deep, lingering breath through her nose. She didn’t say anything to me but she wasn’t at all shy about liking the scent.

I generally don’t like any cologne but Greenbriar Talc from CM sends me. I get it for everyone on my intimacy list.

Swoon making.

Yes, you can’t go wrong with Caswell Massey men’s scents, they’ve been around for decades. The Sandalwood is especially swooney.

Three girls in my undergrad German class unanimously decided I needed to get “Swiss Army” cologne, which apparently is liquid sex appeal. I’ve been wearing it ever since.

It’s lost some of its chic factor, ever since they started selling it at Walmart, but I still get compliments on the scent. My ex girlfriend said was most pleasant trait!

(and yes, I’m aware of how lame that sounds…lol)

I rarely use cologne, but I’ve always loved the smell of Fahrenheit (i know i know… mid-80s), so woodsy!

I have some ancient bottles of Cool Water, Eternity for Men, and lately Hollister’s brand of something I can’t remember (I think it’s called Jake). Despite its uber-trendiness, I like the smell.

I tend to like clean/fresh smelling or woodsy/smoky. Other than that, I just soap up with Irish Spring, and/or Pine Tar (w/Old Spice deodorant).

Drakkar reminds me of the early 90s, and my emo/alternative friends, at the time. ::shudder:: And despite that, I don’t like the smell.

Aramis.

I’ll back you up on this. It’s one of my favorites too!
My 14yo son wears Preferred Stock. My dad wears Brut.
My bf smells delicious with just Irish Spring and Old Spice deodorant.
