Ladies, what's your favorite body wash?

That sounds pretty neat. Like conditioner for your skin. I could get behind that.

Almond oil, eh? Is it actual oil at room temperature, or more of a quasi-solid like coconut oil?

I’m more of a Johnny Depp gal. I guess there’s no accounting for taste

Well, yes. Is that uncommon?

If you got your soap stuff, you can use your scents and colors to make your own body wash. They have good stuff at Wholesale Supplies Plus.

You can add all kinds of exfoliants, use your favorite soap scent and only have to make as much as you want at a time.

Bars of soap. Which I generally prefer to body wash anyway.

I’m also an after-shower moisturizer person. I slather it on everywhere I can reach right out of the shower, put on a fluffy robe and “air-dry” for a little while before getting dressed for work. I got into that habit while living in very dry, arid high desert (Colorado) and can’t imagine not moisturizing after a shower now.*

*Post-menopause your skin gets much drier, which also has something to do with it.

I like the Dove body washes a lot, sometimes use Softsoap and Olay, pretty much rotate between those three brands as they all work well, are moisturizing and often I can combine Sunday coupons with drugstore sales to get them at quite a discount.

Nivea body wash, also tried because I got a good deal on it, wound up being not so great a bargain as it was craptastic. Not moisturizing, unpleasant scent, did not like.

dial yogurt aloe vera body wash. love! leaves skin soft, moisturizes, nice clean fresh scent.

It’s certainly not common in the circles I’ve run in. I only ever met one person in my life who put lotion on her whole body every time she showered: my pre-sorority college roommate. She spent more time getting ready for a normal day than I would for my own wedding. It struck me at the time as an unnecessary, froofy, high-maintenance, sorority-girl routine. I mentally group it with spending hours perfecting your hair/makeup/clothes *every *day, just to go to class (or hell, to Walmart).

But in-shower lotion, that sounds pretty cool. I dunno why it makes a difference in my perception. It kinda just sounds like soap: part 2.

Trader Joe’s peppermint/tea tree oil body wash is around $3. I bought it on a whim and have fallen in love with it – I love that fresh just-washed feeling I get from it

QVC sells it. I love it.

When I’m starting to break out from stress or working out more frequently, I use Neutrogena Acne Body Scrub on my upper body (neck, shoulders & chest).

For the rest of me, I try various body washes, but usually come back to plain white bars of Dove or the Softsoap or whatever it is pomegranate body scrub.

Softsoap body butter “heavenly vanilla”…Its hydrating and has a just right lingering but light vanilla scent. My daughter found it at walmart for super cheap. I also like it bc it has a light scent you can still wear perfume with, and if you dont wear perfume it has a slightly sweet vanilllla scent

I’ve been using this lately. After shaving and/or when I take too hot of a shower, Lubriderm from the red-capped bottle (extra moisturizing, not greasy).

Surprisingly perhaps to Rachelellogram, I find using body wash tedious and time-consuming. I always just run a bar of Tone or Caress over my body, neither of which are particularly moisturizing despite their marketing to the contrary. But I always slather lotion all over my body and I don’t feel adequately hydrated unless I do. For years I’ve used Kiss My Face Peaceful Patchouli, the smell of which most people seem to either love or hate. I get a lot of compliments on my delightful smell at any rate.

Speaking of lizard skin, I use Foot Rescue Heel Cream on my feet; that and Udderly Smooth are the only two products that make me feel remotely human from the knees down in the winter time.

And you really only need a little bit on the loofah or wash cloth and it lathers up pretty well.

HuH? Why all the trouble with a washcloth? Just take the soap from its stand, in your hand, apply hand and soap to where they need to be (crevices), put back the soap, rinse, ready.

I love Origins stuff. My favorite is their ginger body scrub - smells like candy and your skin feels amazing afterwards.

Caress Red Lychee and Patchouli oil scent, and it does last hours after the bath. I don’t know how well it moisturizes because I too slather on the shea butter lotion (or olive oil depending on how my skin is looking) after I shower. It takes about twenty seconds and it helps.

I’m kind of a product junkie, and I’m a sucker for anything lavender. Current favorite is Ulta’s Lavender Woods. I also like the Aveda Lavender-something.

I like Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime. And because they are usually BOGO you can get the lotion for after showering or the body scrub and then you don’t clash. Smell wise, that is.
