I’m kinda over Pam this season. I do love how competent Cyril is, for one.
Oh, and I could watch Carol/ Cheryl talk about her crazy family all day.
I thought the first episode was awesome, between everyone dropping the dime on everyone else and the preview. But these last two were a bit weak.
The whole underground tunnels explanation was hilarious “yeah, and he was doing this in like, 1890…”. Also the bit with the Ocelot fur coat.
Pam is getting a bit one-dimensional, although they did try to expand a bit (sleeping with the yakuza). Lana is doing little, as is Ray.
ETA: and the bit with the old weapons was funny, although I wonder why they were giving folks muskets when there were plenty of other more modern weapons available.
Archer spin cocking a mare’s leg was pretty cool.
Me too. I was expecting the worst from this thread, but I really like the episode. Best one so far this season.
Same for Krieger, which is a bit of a surprise–I figured his name in the credits suggested an expanded role.

The season started off well (including the montage) and then has gone downhill rapidly.
If the showrunners don’t want to show the team making any money selling drugs, then get rid of the coke. Giving it away or losing it in scams is getting pretty threadbare only two episodes in.
Not certain what the “idea” behind Archer Vice was/is…but it doesn’t seem to be working. Fortunately, a weak Archer means that Chozen won’t be on the air much longer.

They’re not exactly the most capable bunch of former super-spies in the world, so I’m not bothered by them not actually making any money. And we’ve got Carol/Cheryl’s billions to keep them out of receivership.

Yeah, so far it has been what? Episode 1: Krieger concerned about deleting his web browser history when the FBI raids, Episode 2: Krieger reveals he has cameras all around the mansion('s bathrooms). Episode 3: Krieger and his anime GF argue about Japanese/Chinese identification. Not much there.
I laughed a few times at the latest ep (and it was good to hear George Takei as the head Yakuza) but the show’s still not up to its previous level of insane funniness.

Yep, during “Sea Tunt.” She made the decision at the end of “The Honeymooners,” after considering both Archer and Cyril.
So, since we’ve seen numerous other call-backs in the past three episodes, who wants to lay odds on Conrad Stern (which is not his real name) returning this season?
Heck, if you go frame-by-frame through Archer’s flash-forward at the end of the first episode, it wouldn’t shock me if Conrad Stern (not his real name) was in there somewhere.
