If it does not pan out me and Mrs. Sili will be there. We’ll call ahead and bring whatever you need (that we can fit in the car, and that should be plenty since it’s an SUV

This strikes me as incredibly tacky. Do you always presume to set the entertainment for other people’s parties? I find it ironic that bands are complaining that people are listening to their music via Napster without compensation, and you guys are trying to force it on us for free without anyone even requesting it!

As far as the musical instruments, I was just leaping aboard the ol’ bandwagon. I’m just looking forward to a nice get together with some Doper friends I’ve already met, and to make a few more - you included.

I’ll have you know that I nixed my hubby’s idea to hire a band because I didn’t want to be stuck with one kind of music. I wanted to choose the music that is played because it’s my birthday! If I can’t be boss of the day, when can I?
That said, I have picked out about 20 of my favorite CDs and put them into a random rotation to be piped to the outdoor speakers.
Zenster can play whatever music he wants if and when he plays, but the reason I invited you all here is to have fun. If music gets in the way of drinking, I’ll ban instruments.
Now apologize to VV and get her to come again, or I’ll have your heads rotisseried on my hubby’s 65K BTU grill!
