Well, Ralphie just finished – I thought he was utterly dreadful. Loud, yes, but not funny.
And now Dat Phan’s back to making fun of his mother… sigh.
What do you think the odds are that anyone will say anthing that’s actually funny tonight?

Tess kept laughing at her own jokes – I thought she had a little more stage experience than that.
Rich had funnier material than anyone else, but his delivery was off.
Cory had her act together.
Didn’t see this week, but Dave got screwed last week.
Dave got screwed because he had a mistaken idea about the show. He thought it was about who had the best material or delivery. Dat knew that it was just about appealing to the face-off audience.
The episode was kinda lame. Five minutes of stand up per comic. It wasn’t enough time to do much damage I think. And way too many commercials.
I found Ralphie to be the funniest, then Dat Phan even though he used some “old” material, his other stand up routines were what I thought of when he went up so, he didn’t really have to put up a really good showing here. He had to use his guns earlier since he was on the chopping block and all.
Tess, Cory and Rich Vos all were lame in content and delivery… but with the whole show to consider, they weren’t going to get laughs from me even if they pulled out a piss-your-pants joke out of nowhere.
Cory’s jab at Dat was cheap, Tess was laughing at her own jokes half the time and Rich must’ve been rusty with those twenty years as a comic. Dat’s mother thing is lame, but again was thinking of his set that took Geoff out so I find him funny. And Ralphie mixing up his fat, wannabe black and angry shtick was good.
in my opinion, wasn’t much of an act to begin with.
When is the finale? I missed the date when they were going to show the results. You can vote online at www.voteNBC.com if you missed that part.
Next Tuesday is the 2 hour finale.
I’m looking at this whole thing trying to decide whose TV show would be the funniest.
If Dat Phan had a show it would suck. He’s funny as hell but very one dimensional.
I think I would probably like a Rich Vos show the best, after that Tess, after that none of them, really.
Oh, if only there was a way to vote for Dave. Or Rob Cantrell–he was weird, but in a good way.
I wouldn’t pay to see any of these five (maybe Voss as an opener). So I guess I want Voss to win by default.
None of them wre especially funny tonight. Dat will probably win because of his likability factor.
Dave and Rob were the most talented comics and they’ll probably both end up doing better in the long run than whoever wins this thing.
God help me, I voted for Rich Vos. Last night, he was the funniest. Of course, that’s not saying a whole lot.
I never found Ralphie to be particularly funny, and Dat wasn’t funny at all last night - he seemed almost desperate. Tess annoyed me, altho the thong bit was kinda funny… By the time Rich and Cory came on, I wasn’t in a very receptive mood, but I thought both of them did a better job than the other 3.
I miss Dave. <sigh>
Ralphie - extrememly cheap. He had one joke and was a little ignorant in some parts. That turned me off.
Dat - I thought a few of his jokes were very funny, others I"d heard before, and others were cheap.
Tess - I swear, I didn’t laugh once. I just sat there thinking, “who laughs at this crap.”
…I apologize to any who did.
Rick - Funniest of the group…but that isn’t saying much.
Cory - She was funny here and there. As a whole, not the best of the group.
Dave Mordal was far and away the funniest of the group. For a few of his sets I laughed so hard I cried. The fact that he’s not in it anymore has soured the whole thing for me quite a bit.
I laughed once at Ralphie (when his “do you know how long it takes me to put my shoes back on at the airport” line came out of nowhere). I cringed at Dat Phan, I don’t think I ever even approached a smile. (I never saw any of the other episodes so I didn’t know anything about the comics or previous performances)
Then I went and found something else to do.
So based on that, I vote for Ralphie.
Some of them used sexual jokes & I thought that was a bit cheap.
Dat kept leaning on the pole as if he needed support or something…
Which didn’t surprise me.
The comics were nervous and it showed. I was entertained by the thought of Dave Mordal sitting at home watching this. He probably could’ve won it all, had he not voted for Dat. Stupid.
I agree with The Controvert, they all seemed very nervous. I thought Corey was actually the best last night, which suprised me, because I haven’t liked her up until last night.
I am just guessing, but I am assuming the majority of the people watching this show are middle-aged or younger guys. If that is the case, then Ralphie and Rich have the best shot at winning. I think Rich Vos will win.
Once again I will say that Rob Cantrell was the best comic on this show and it is a shame that he isn’t still around.
So, what are they going to do in the finale?
“Before we announce who won, here’s 1 hour and 58 minutes of Backstreet Boys videos”
I agree with everyone in that none of them really struck me as being very funny, none of them stood out, they all seemed nervous and one really deserved to win.
Ralphie had the crowd into it the most and had some good jokes.
Dat Phan.....how is he still on this show? He talks in a funny voice to immitate, which, sadly, is the funniest thing he does. I didn't even understand what he was talking about half the time.
Tess.....just not funny. Fat stripper in a thong....ha, ha, I get it. Five minutes of material out of that?
Rich Vos had some could jokes, but his timing wasn't there.
Cory was OK and I have no strong feeling either way about her.
So definetly no to Dat and Tess. I guess Ralphie or Rich Voss. I would bet Ralphie wins.
