Lesbian Gingerbread - A Chocolatey and Nostalgic MMP

Hint: It doesn’t mean what you think it means. It refers to whether the phenotype of reagent red blood cells have homologous or heterologous antigen typing. We just call em’ homos and heteros for short.

Fun Fact for Fun Fact Thursday: In my lab the number of men is near equal to the number of women, but I am in the minority by being a* heterosexual* male.

Kisses,

Howdy all. Busy day, running around and looking after HRH. I had to take MIL grocery shopping as well, which was not fun! Especially seeing as how the poor woman quite literally shat herself in the grocery store and I then had to drive her all the way home, smelling like my daughter had smeared faeces all over the upholstery! :: pukey smilie :: I really need to air my car out now, since it still smells like a public restroom next to an Indian Restaurant!

Rigs, if and when you get #1 son’s itinerary, feel free to PM me with any questions about the places he’s visiting or places he should see. I was born and raised in Queensland, and am familiar with parts of central and south-western Queensland, as well as the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) and Cairns (in far north Queensland).

Okay, time to wake HRH up from her afternoon nap. Ciao folks!

What, no kisses for me today? :frowning:
Actually, I’m at work now and doing better. I talked to my dad (via text message) and I guess he’s not mad at me. I was also dramatically cheered up by **nd_n8’s ** YouTube video. Guess I should go get some work done, huh.

MUAH!!!

Hi all!

My bank is helpful to a fault. On Tuesday, I went to the Texas DPS (Dept of Public Safety) website to pay SIX no-insurance surcharge payments for my son. These are years old, and it is just not feasible for him to get them paid off, and they are preventing him from getting his driver’s license reinstated. Mr Rebo and I decided that it would be an early birthday present to pay them off.

So, I paid the six surcharges with my debit card. The bank rejected 5 of them, because the amounts were all the same. So after talking to the bank, I called the DPS and they said that they show them all paid. So now I have to wait until the DPS shows them rejected, and then pay the remaining five one day at a time. What a huge pain. I can’t pre-authorize the payments with the bank, it’s an automated computer thing. <sigh> I shoulda paid them by credit card, although that might have gotten rejected, too.

Other than that, I got nuthin’.

Hugs, yays, boos as needed…

still in blrflmrf mode

argleblargelf back at ya.

sjnduisenln indeed.

:: get-well kisses blown to those in need ::

Mornin’ all. Ugh. Can I go back to bed?

I went to a mall last night. (Have I ever mentioned that I hate shopping?) I have this eyeshadow that I really like the look of, but my eyes get sensitive to it after a day. So, I can’t wear it very often. Since, Clinique is supposed to have allergy approved stuff and be really good, and since it’s free gift week, I thought I’d go and see what they had. Well, the guy put this purple shadow on my eyes, saying that it would look devine or some such. A couple hours later, I was on my way home my eyes really started to itch and feel really heavy, kinda burn-y. :frowning:  So, now my eyes are red and puffy. That eyeshadow is going back! (I hate to return things even more than I hate shopping in the first place!) I hardly ever wear the makeup in the first place, so I don’t know what I was thinking anyway.

I originally went to the mall to go to Sears to look for a vacuum. They have the weirdest thing there. You go to the store to buy it online at a computer terminal. What the F***!!!?! You buy things online so that you don’t have to go to the store!! But, aparently, if you go to the store and use their computer terminals, you get the sale price available only at the store and free shipping. Neither of which you’d get if you bought it online. Weird. Really weird. But, I did it. Well, OK, I mostly did it because I was buying a vacuum and didn’t want to/couldn’t carry it to and from the bus to get it back home. So, we’ll see when it gets delivered. The guy in the store said it should be here Friday or Saturday. :dubious: I don’t know that I believe that though. OK, I do know. I don’t really believe that at all. But, they could suprise me. All I have to say is that this freakin’ vacuum better work. It should work though, the floor model was gone because one of the other departments borrowed it to sweep the floor there. I don’t want to futz around with returning another vacuum.

But, really online ordering from in the store???

I also made an appointment with an oral surgeon tomorrow to have one of my wisdom teeth removed. fun. or something.

I read, but it’s a blargle kind of day. Yays, hugs, boos and blahs and necessary.

mmousie, I actually find Clinique’s products kinda harsh on my skin, and my skin isn’t sensitive. IME Asian makeup brands tend to be gentler - Shiseido or Shu Uemura might be worth checking out. Bobbi Brown works well for me too.

Too many Mumpers are having trouble sleeping. I’m getting google ads for Ambien!

I read everything and I’m sure I was going to comment on something, but I have no idea what. So hugs, congrats, get betters, etc.

Kisses to you too!!!

Recently had one of mine out, and nervous as hell.

Procedure was absolutely painless, though I was mildly sore for longer than I predicted.

Good luck!

Today is definitely an argleblargh kind of day, isn’t it? It’s Papa Tigs’ Firday, so he’ll be trying to get home earlier than he has any other day this week. Which isn’t saying much, as I think his earliest arrival home was 5:30 pm. After leaving the house at 5:15 am. He wants to go do something when he gets home, so I guess I had really better get cracking on my laundry; I literally have almost nothing clean to wear. I just haven’t been able to work up enough energy to really care about it, but I’m afraid I may not have that luxury much longer. :frowning:

Sorry about all the sickies – everyone feel better soon!

It’s a beyoootiful sunny day here, with the temp already rapidly climbing towards the predicted high in the low 70s. Maybe the sunshine will give me some energy? Because so far nothing else has. It’s odd, I usually get my severe cases of the Don’t Wannas when it’s grey and gloomy, but today I just want to enjoy the sunshine by being a lazy slug. Maybe I will be.

Off to have one last cuppa while trying to decide whether I shall be productive or nonproductive today. Decisions, decisions.

This is aimed at everyone of the blurf persuasion today.

:::read, read, read, read, uh, the end, finally:::

pie, any chance you and your SO could be passing the UTI bacteria back and forth? I read somewhere that if you are (ahem) intimate and having chronic UTIs, you might both need to be taking the antibiotics. Just a thought to ask the doc.

boofae, poor sick baby. Hope you feel better soon.

dots, poor MIL. That’s gonna take the wind out of her sails in future, innit?

mamatigs, you get in there right now and get that laundry started! You hear me, young lady? It’s not going to do itself, now is it? (How’s that?)

That’s all I got right now.

Tupug

Traditionally speaking, this isn’t the norm.

Usually regularly hygienic male will not reinfect his partner with the same baterial infection often times in a row on his own. Of course this becomes an issue later in life when you kidneys go kaputz.

In younger people repeated UTI’s can occur in females due to a rare instances of a rogue strain of infection, and inconsistent hygiene & antibiotic taking. A second opinion from your next doctor might work too.

Don’t be so sure… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWFockI-rbY

“uh-oh…”

I’m hungry. I think it’s going to be an early lunch day.

it already was burp
