Bumping, because that’s what I appreciates about Letterkenny. Just started watching it and I’m enjoying it like a dog enjoys fresh mangled possum.
This is like *Clerks *in rural Canada. The dialogue is amazing. There’s one bit where Wayne and Dary alliterated every letter of the alphabet in sequence. The hockey player bromancers work through every jock cliche in existence and invent new ones. The meth heads could easily have been the dark criminal element of the series, but turn out to be no more eccentric than the regular locals.
I haven’t looked into whether there’s an actual fart culture like the Fartbook episode suggests, but it demonstrates the type of thing bored farmers are capable of generating.

Season 7 comes out October 14.
Watched Season 7 last night. The first two episodes were rotten, but it picked up from there. By far the weakest season. Glad to see Stewart has his hair back.
Yeah disappointed in this season but hey, at least it’s still new Letterkenny. The hockey game was epic!
I’ve only watched the first two episodes so far and was a little disappointed.
Since when does Stewart and his boy get to just casually hang with Wayne and his crew? Wayne would never allow that nonsense.
And part of the shows charm is you normally get to see multiple stories going on with each of the cliques. Which we didn’t get to see.
Is Hulu trying to do this show on the cheap?
I think they were running the sound (or were supposed to’ve been) for the show.
They (heh!) phoned in the first few episodes.
No, I’m talking about the “stump fire” scene where they were all just sitting around drinking beers.
Recall the Valentime’s* Day special where Stewart (STRT!) and Wayne got friendly over beers and hockey. Then the Season 6 episode (episodes?) where the hicks came to the Skids’ rescue when the Skids were selling drugs. And Katie & Stewart are kinda friends.
If you recall S1E1 Wayne wasn’t too fond of the hockey players for a while either but through their various tussles and shared enemies, they are pals enough to come to the STUMP BURNING too.
*I know.
Yeah but then Stewart said he tips “Zero percent” and fucked up his budding bromance. 
Season 8 dropped on Christmas, and I only found out last night. I’m partway through, but so far, the show seems to have returned to its roots. I could do with less Shoresy. If he catches a skate to the throat and bleeds out on the ice, I’d be ok with that.
How did I find season 8? I was watching Littlekenny, a series of animated short shorts on Hulu. It depicts the Letterkenny cast as children in grade school. God help me, I watched it all. Then season 8 auto-started.
I just realized while watching S8 that Mrs McMurray is Wynnona Earp.
And yes, S8 is much closer to the earlier stuff.
I don’t mean to imply that Littlekenny sucks. It’s just surreal.
The dialogue is kinda hard to understand, and the stuttering thing threw me, but some of it is funny (only one out-loud laugh, but a couple of silent ones), and some of it is touching. It shows how the main characters came together while in 2nd grade, how Daryl and Squirrely Dan got their nicknames, and the first ever super-soft birthday.
Imma need you to take it back about 10 percent there grrr
Love this show! hulu was after me for a bit to watch it so after about a month, I did and man is I’s glads I’s dids! Lols The wordplay is PHENOM, prolevel. It didnt get old yet which suprised me usually this kind of comedy dies off after a few seasons but id say its right up there with the office, better even…a lot better actually cause i dont really like the office all that much but i can see why people like it at least.
