Pretty much self explanatory.
My nominee: trump administration acting AG Matthew Whittaker.
Matthew George Whitaker (born October 29, 1969) is an American lawyer, lobbyist and politician who served as the acting United States Attorney General from November 7, 2018, to February 14, 2019. He was appointed to that position by President Donald Trump after Jeff Sessions resigned at Trump's request. Whitaker had previously served as Chief of Staff to Sessions from October 2017 to November 2018.
While attending the University of Iowa, Whitaker played tight end for the University of Iowa Ha...
Since Luthor has had many looks over the years the baseline for judging is the “Silver Age” Luthor.

Once we have nominations, I’ll set up a poll. (What do you think,10, 12?)
Your nominations please.
Oh, and any actor who’s actually portrayed the character is automatically disqualified.

I’m going with Whittaker. I noticed that immediately when Trump made him the Acting AG, not only because of his appearance, but because he fit the evil character too.
(Curious why OP is bringing this up now.)
In the movie Red, Bruce Willis could have easily passed for ‘business mogul’ Lex Luthor.
Brian Cranston in bald Heisman mode.

While I’ll grudgingly allow comparisons in appearance between current political figures and Lex Luthor, everyone is to keep politics itself strictly out of this thread. I’ll not Warn Senegoid for this, but anyone from here out, I will.

No political motivations here on this one. Just saw Lex on something recently and someone in another place referenced Jeff Bezos as an LL double. So I was just going for the humorous aspect. Some good selections here so far.

And in the spirit of the thread, Whittaker looks too thick-set, to my eye, to be Luthor. I always picture him as a thin man.
Pretty much any villain with a bald head.
Corey Stoll (Yellowjacket) from Ant Man
Ernst Blofeld from James Bond.
I would have never picked Jon Cryer to be Lex , but he does a really good job.

I got a buddy that looks too much like Dr. Venture for my comfort.
How about Jeff Bridges/Obadiah Stane in Iron Man?
Picturing Cranston in Heisman Trophy pose with a bag of meth instead of a football.
