Lib's 'Innocent Comments'

I don’t know that David’s email was done while he was wearing his moderator hat, so I don’t know if Lib should assume it is an official reprimand. I suspect it is just something David-the-Poster is annoyed about but thought it was more polite/effective to email than to post. If it was really serious, David would have probably used his Secret Moderator Powers to get Lib’s email, rather than ask him for it.

David:

Thank you. Thank you so much. I got it and replied. Why is it that everytime I try to anticipate you, you turn around and surprise me in beautiful ways?

Firefly:

I wish I’d never said anything, and I withdraw all of it. Maybe over time we will reconcile, you and I. In my opinion, we will have to anyway before we can come into His kingdom.

All:

Back to GD for me! I’ll work consciously to be meeker but, forgive me, I will be unable to put aside my principles or to interpret anything without them.

And I apologize for anything I have said that was out of line, Lib. We will never agree on much, I know, but I’m sure we can find a way to be cordial and respect one another’s point of view.

I wonder if Lynn can lock a thread at the request of the OPer? I think the best thing for this thread would be a decent burial.

RTF: Yes, she (or Tubadiva or Ed) can and have before. I will forward your request to them.

Lib:

I understood the Noncoercion Principle to be addressing one’s own actions, not those of others’. You stated above that you view the principle as “one ought not to be coerced by others.” One can not have any effect on another except by forcible coercion or by setting an example. The way I see the Biblical text of Jesus’ admonition is for one not to coerce another–it doesn’t address any action by another person.

Since it seems that the discussion is moving to email, and I’ve received requests to close the thread, I’m doing so.
