Line up your "holiday season" movie list

In no particular order, Mrs. dewgrrl and I plan on seeing:

Rent
Narnia-I and Brokeback Mountain (in a double feature, the night they’re both released, if we can)
HP & the Goblet of Fire

Both of our families share the tradition of seeing films on the day of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Somehow you can always eat popcorn, even when you’ve already stuffed yourself with turkey and whatnot…

My most-awaited movie is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Shane Black’s long-awaited directorial debut.

After that, I plan to see:
Harry Potter IV
V For Vendetta (or has it been postponed until March?)

I’ll see these if I get dragged to them, or else wait to rent them:
Rent
Narnia (must admit I’m not terribly interested)

What else is coming out?

No KING KONG yet?
Definately on my must see list.

Harry Potter

… and then Serenity, about five times once the DVD comes out on December 20th.

It is coming out that soon? Cool. I’ve seen it twice in the theater so far. Once after not having seen any of the TV episodes, and once after watching the episodes on dvd in one long marathon session.

In addition to Harry Potter, Narnia, KONG and Rent, I’ll probably go see The Producers, and maybe Aeon Flux. And while it may be a hair early to be considered a holiday movie, I’ll add Zathura as well.

Serenity fans: don’t rush out and buy the December DVD release! You just know they’re hurrying it out before Christmas, but a better version will probably be available in 2006.
