January 6: Downton Abbey, season 3 (US broadcast)
January 8: A Memory of Light (final book of The Wheel of Time)
Feb 5: Smash, season 2 (kind of a guilty pleasure, but hey, singing and dancing and broadway shows!)
March 31: A Game of Thrones, season 3

What else is coming up soon that should be awesome?
My most anticipated movie for the rest of this year is Zero Dark Thirty, about a CIA analyst who helped track down Osama bin Laden. It’s Kathryn Bigelow’s follow-up to The Hurt Locker, so my expectations are sky-high, but the reviews are all stellar so far.
I’m also looking forward to Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects and Chan-wook Park’s Stoker early next year. The new season of Justified is at the top of my TV list.

Westerberg and Stinson got back together for a charitable cause to release some new Replacements music. It’s supposed to be released this year.
