I’m really looking forward to Synecdoche, New York, which is supposedly coming out in September, but not confirmed.

Also, like Atrael, **Made of Honour **on May 2nd, because it looks girly and a bit cheesy and me and my friends have a weakness for those kinds of movies!

Wanted is that Angelina Jolie movie, right? I want to see that one and Prince Caspian. Those are the only two I’ll likely make an effort to see in the theater. I have a really good home theater setup, so I don’t really worry if I miss a show in the theaters.

If wanted is the Angelina Jolie assassin movie, I’ll be seeing that too.

Whoa whoa whoa. Are these actual movies that are being made? Hamlet 2 I would not so much be up for, but another X-Files movie? Interesting. Unless it’s “Fight the Future: 3-D Killer Bee-O-Rama” or something.

Anyway, I cannot tell a lie, I’m pretty excited about seeing Speed Racer. Even if the story is terrible, it will at least be cool to look at. As for the other movies…I liked the first Narnia movie well enough, and Prince Caspian looks even better (more epic-ness and less talking animals and snow). I’ll probably take my niece to see that one. I can’t wait for WallE*, it looks really good so far (and does anyone else think Wall*E is reminiscent of the skiing moon robot from Aardman’s A Grand Day Out?). Indiana Jones 4, duh. They’ve been talking about making this movie for what seems like about 700 years, I’m too curious not to see it now.

Also, Miyazaki-san’s next movie, Ponyo on a Cliff, comes out in Japan this summer. Not that I’ll see it then, of course, but hopefully there will be a release in the 'States sometime in 2009.

I just saw the Trailer for the movie -The Flight of The Red Balloon. I would love to see but i am not sure if it will be coming out in theaters near me.

Sweeet, it’s less than a month to Iron Man!

I am embarassed to say I am totally geeked for this movie. First, I grew up watching those cartoons every afternoon after school, over and over and…it looks from the trailer they caught the sleek, fast-paced spirit of the series without going for the easy-to-parody moments (OK, there was that scene with Spridle and Chim-Chim hiding in the trunk of the Mach 5, which even as a six-year old I found ridiculous, but still). Plus, it’s got a great look…I hear they’re even releasing it on IMAX.

But more importantly, I have a young son who loves racecars and shows about racecars. My wife and I took him to see Horton Hears a Who, which was preceded by the trailer for Speed Racer. When the two-minute clip ended with the film logo, he spontaneously shouted “All Right!” and even after the Horton film couldn’t stop talking about Speed Racer’s cool car.

Mark my words: This thing is gonna be huge, a perfect storm of nostalgic adults and wide-eyed kids thronging to the multiplex. Proceed at your own peril

In no particular order:

Iron Man
Prince Caspian
Speed Racer
Doctah Joooones!!
Harry Potter
Wall-E
Zack and Miri Make a Porno

I’m sure there will be more, but the caffeine hasn’t quite kicked in yet.

We’re psyched forThe Dark Knight, the new Indiana Jones flick, and Wall-E. It’s about damn time; there’s been slim pickins in the movie theater over the last couple of months.

Yep, they’re actual movies. The X-Files movie doesn’t have an official title yet, and Chris Carter has been very, very tight-lipped. The only thing I know is that it’s not a “mytharc” movie. I guess it’s more like a monster-of-the-week, which I think is pretty damned awesome.

Hamlet 2 looks pretty funny to me.

I love Steve Coogan. And Catherine Keener is in it, too, who I also like quite a bit.

Oh, okay. It’s a sequel within a movie, so to speak. I was thinking for a minute there that it would be pretty hard to stage a serious follow-up to the actual play, unless they adapted the modern spin-off about Rosencranz and Guildenstern or something. But the movie of which you speak DOES sound interesting.

Definitely THE DARK KNIGHT, INDIANA JONES and PRINCE CASPIAN, probably IRON MAN. I did not know about a new MUMMY film! I’ll probably make an effort for that. And oh yes, also a definite for POTTER.

I’m looking forward to Iron Man, Dark Knight, Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Comfy Chair, and The Third Movie About That Guy From The Mummy. I’ll catch Speed Racer, Wanted, Hellboy II, and Hulk at the dollar theater a month or so after they come out.

I’m already eagerly awaiting 2009, though. Watchmen and The Spirit!

Yeah, i’ve been looking forward to that since i saw the first teasers. It looks awesome, and Robert Downey Jr. is perfect.

Dark Knight is also high on my list.
