Once upon a time on these boards, when I would insert a ‘link’, it would ask me for the site and THEN ask for a ‘text’ to be inserted in lieu of the link. IOW, I would c & p the HTTP etc, and rather than that being the ‘link’ I was able to add my own words, like “Here is a picture of my pussycat” or whatever.
For some reason I am unable to do this anymore, and I’m wondering if a) I am doing something wrong, or b) this function has changed over the last year or so.
Can anyone help me here?
Just bumping my own thread 'cos I think it was first submitted during a bit of SDMB down-time and even my OWN vists aren’t showing as views. 
Thread view counts do not update in realtime. They are updated once per hour or so.
