What eyeshadow color goes best with dark red lipstick:confused:?
I think it depends on what you are wearing. I usually use grey-ish silver or brown on my eyelids, but I wear bright red lipstick. (Make sure you blot and set your lipstick before you kiss anyone, or you will end up marking them!)

No lip liner here. I either use Loreal True Red lipstick or Jordana gloss in Gorgeous. (I am lucky, I have full lips…)
For a real red, I’d stick to nudes or other soft browns for shadow, but you can be a little dramatic with black liner and mascara. As a rule, if you get dramatic with one part of your make-up, keep the rest on the natural side.

Bloodless Turnip, that is to be worn with hideous cotton candy pink lipstick! My mother actually used to wear that combination. :smack: I told her that my friend LuSondra was doing my makeup for my wedding and that I would ask Luz if she would do my mother’s also…I told my friend about what my mother’s choice was…this was the expression I got in return…:eek:

I have bright pink lipstick and everytime I were it people always stare at me:confused:…not like a repulsive stare but more like UFO stare…

But you look lovely in it. Not in that dated frosted pink lipstick with the frosted blue eyeshadow…People look at me funny when I wear red lipstick and my black eyeliner…
I have a bright fuchsia pink lipstick (NARS FunnyFace) and I love it. I’m very pale and it’s very flattering on me. A bright red is actually harder for me to wear but I use the same principle regardless of the colour of the lipstick, emphasis on one feature. If its lips, then a nude or soft shimmery gold eye with a little bit of eyeliner & mascara. If its
a strong smokey eye, then its a pale nude or light pink lip.
Ok thanks! I have speed dial by MAC and love it also! But not sure what other eyeshadow shades I can where that will look good with my skin tone(I’m dark) and flatter me at the same time besides purple…
I think something light and shimmery would be beautiful. Something with golden tones perhaps, i think it would look great? Not a solid block gold but a lighter wash of something more subtle. Bare minerals do some lovely shimmery colours and I’m somewhat obsessed with a golden Giorgio Armani ‘eyes to kill’ shadow, I’m sure MAC would have something perfect too, I just can’t think of a shade name at the moment.
Ok next time I’m at the MAC counter I’m gonna check the gold shades out!
