lipstick question

Got a question for you faithful lipstick users out there. I’m looking for a long lasting, long wearing lipstick. The kind where I have to make little to no touchups.

I’ve used CoverGirl Outlast, which truly does last a loooong time. But I have to keep applying that gloss that comes with it, which I have to do very often or it looks really dry. And eventually, after about six hours, it flakes off.

I just bought that new L’oreal Endless. It feels good going on. Smells good. Nice color. But it doesn’t last even near the “8 hours with no touch ups” claim that it makes.

Do y’all have any brand suggestions?

Strange that you mention Endless. I bought some today to try out. It does feel good going on. I’ve tried many, including one that has a liquid application followed by some wax/gloss sealer. Maybe it was Outlast. But the outline on my lips remained, & the other portions got lighter. Yuck! So nothing has been long lasting so far, including those lipstick pencils. :frowning:

I use lipstick all the time. There is no such thing as a lipstick that does not need to be reapplied.Six hours is pretty damn good as far as wear goes. To make it last longer always use a lip pencil under your lipstick. Then stick the tube in your pocket, as long as you reapply every time you go to the bathroom you’ll be fine.(If you don’t use the bathroom within a six hour period you need to drink more liquid, or get you kidneys checked)

I use Lancôme’s Rouge Magnétic (Swoon) and I really like it because it:[ul][li]smells good[/li][li]doesn’t feel heavy or cakey[/li][li]lasts several hours (re-apply it after lunch)[/li][li]and it smells good (that’s important to me)[/li][/ul]
But it costs $.

Lancôme lipsticks

You aren’t kidding. $18.50 is high! But if it is that good, it might be worth a try. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well, shinola…

Brynda, you better act quick. I just found out that Lancôme is discontinuing that line.

:frowning: Lancôme-Paris, vous sucez. But yet I buy you!! I am weak.

Does anyone know how long extra tubes of lipstick will last in the fridge?
