I was so desperately lonely. :frowning:

I don’t know how you all can come up with 10 items. Here’s what I have:
Today:
*Nothing

Monday:
*Nothing

Sunday:
*Nothing

Saturday:
*Gas for the car
*$168 worth of groceries

Friday:
*Nothing

Thursday:
*Chinese food for lunch (a rare treat!)
*Bottle of Bourbon

Before that, I don’t remember, so I only came up with four things. I guess I don’t buy nearly as much stuff as I thought.

McDonald’s - 5.00-ish soup - .79
Cat food, deli meat, vodka - $27.00
Soup & chips - $3.00
Soup & chips - $3.00

That covers the last 3 days - I don’t rememebr specifics from longer ago, but you can assume it’s much the same. The last time I bought something significantly different from the above was probably some coins I ordered over the internet a couple of weeks ago - $15.00.

Joe

My god, where do you live? $15.00 for A pack of cigs? $50 for a carton (I assume of 24 bottles/cans) of beer? $5.00 Red Bull? I thought San Fran was expensive…

Joe

I had a hard time with it, but fortunately (?) we’ve spent an unusual amount lately. I didn’t count bill-paying, just things where I was physically present during the transaction. At first I thought it would be 5 weeks long and go: Gas, groceries. Gas, groceries. Gas, groceries. That’s more typical!

$75- Parts for brake job
$750 - new tires + tie rods + alignment
$10 - Cigarettes
$2.50 - Two Dr peppers
$3.60 - Box of Instant noodles
$120 - Cable Bill
$10 - Lunch at Juicy Burger
$40 - Gas
$8 - Netflix bill
$175 - Dinner Out for 2

Pee pee tee pees: a little tee pee for the small wee wee to prevent pee pee from going where it shouldn’t during the diaper change. I’m heading up to visit my 3 year old niece (for whom I bought the fairy wings) and six month old nephews (who are too young for gifts, but whose parents may appreciate the tee pees).

Apparently.

All are approximate numbers :

Car wash & Rain-X application $8
Lunch @ Arby’s $6
Iced tea @ Starbucks $2
Kindle book $6
15 gallons gas $30
Dinner @ Logan’s $18
Random items at Target (Magazines, cheese crackers, Hungry Hungry Hippos, wrapping paper, cleaning supplies) $100
Tricycle @ Toys R’ Us $80
Latte @ Starbucks $4
Kindle book $7

This reinforces my recent Mint statement which tells me I buy too many books, too much Starbucks, and should not be allowed near a Target.

Well are you?

I had to go online and look. I am very busy at work today.

Car payment
Laundry
Wrangler jeans
Haagen Dazs cookie dough ice cream
Curtains
Canned cheese
Unsalted crackers
Tomatoes on the vine
5-hour energy
Walkers shortbread cookies

I paid for only eight items yesterday (Wednesday). I:

Taxi
Visa for Vietnam (for myself; as a Thai national, the wife does not need a visa)
Bus
Mocha coffee
Bottle of Mirinda orange-banana carbonated soft drink
Fried macaroni and chicken
Expressway toll
Taxi

I also took the Skytrain – our elevated mass transit – a couple of times, but I used a stored-value ticket for that. Still, if you can count that, that makes an even 10 for yesterday.

$42 - narita express ticket to the airport
$50 - penalty for overweight luggage
$35 - being driven from airport to relatives’ place
$6 - mrt
$10 - tea at a tea house
$1 - grilled squid
$1.5 - oyster omelette
$2 - sausages w/ garlic
$5 - spicy beef noodle soup
$1 - freshly squeezed guava juice

I’ll play.
