I’ll start off with this one:
Mealworms for my pet chameleon.
Chipotle burrito. Half steak, half chorizo, spicy salsa, white rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce. Delicious.
I got five prescriptions filled.
A 99-cent Mountain Dew fountain drink.
a diet coke
Cup of coffee and bottle of Coke
7-11 coffee refill: Brazilian dark roast with light cream, one Sweet ‘n’ Low and one Spelenda sweetner.
A pair of pants for $6. It’ll be interesting to see what the quality is like when they arrive. Sometimes I get things straight from the factory and they turn out to be just like the ones on sale at Nordstrom, otherwise not so much. But given the price differential, if even one in eight or nine turns out to be usable, I still come out ahead with this strategy.
Dinner at the diner last night, on the way home from a trip.
I was out Tuesday and my last stop was at Walmart to buy groceries. I bought around a couple dozen items so I can’t say which one was the specific one I purchased last.
A 3 ft. 1/4 inch steel rod and a box of lock washers.
Stopped off at the supermarket on the way home yesterday. Last thing that went into the cart was a box of limoncello ice-cream sandwiches; I think the last thing that was scanned was the three 12-packs of Throwback Mountain Dew.
Two chili dogs. I was expecting this to be lunch ($4.50 each dog), but then they arrived and they were third-pound dogs on a large french roll, served with chips: basically filled a large plate…each. So it’s lunch and dinner, apparently.
I was last out and about on Tuesday morning for a walk and breakfast with a friend. Stopped on the way home at the Dari-Mart for a gallon of 1% milk, a half gallon of whole milk, two packs of regular M&Ms and 2 packs of Peanut M&Ms.
Prescription pharmaceuticals.
And the previous purchase was prescription pharmaceuticals.
And the penultimate purchase was prescription pharmaceuticals.
Coconut lip balm from The Body Shop.
Jimmy John’s sandwich.
I bought a Twix bar from the vending machine at lunch.
A copy of Diane Rehm’s book, “On My Own”.
A bottle of Kikoman’s Triple-Ginger Teriyaki sauce, a tub of Edy’s Carmel Delight ice cream and garbage bags. Big night ahead.
